Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by me had to return this product
The lawnmower was purchased on-line and shipped to home. The front wheels and one cable were detached when the box was openned. The front wheel adjusting brackets for both front wheels was missing. Oil bottle and zip lock bag that enclosed it leaked oil everywhere in transit. Local Home Depot did a great job accepting the return for full refund.

Lawnboy does not honor their "full 2 year warranty" on their warranties except if there is a problem in the first month. They will tell you that the problem was caused by the user, not the company, so you are out of luck if the lawn mower breaks down after its initial use. Lawnboy use to make a reliable, well made lawn mower that lasted for years, but not anymore. One repair shop said that their lawn mower is nothing more than a "throwaway, disposable item" . Another shop said that they do not honor their warranties and does not want to get involved unless you just purchased it. Beware of a recommended repair shop that they refer you to and will take the lawn mower in.

I bought a new mower, I thought. UPS brought a new box with a clean mower in it. It would not run so I took it in for warranty repair. The service tech showed me where someone had put in a non OEM air filter and the spark plug was fouled. Someone at Home Depot tried to palm off a used machine as new. The only good thing was the local store manager was very good about taking it back and refunding my money.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nubs mower very easy to put together,,, 6-8 minutes total.
Unbelievable, but after putting it together, adding oil and gas, gave it a slight pull, and it started!! I have never had a mower start first time when perfectly new, no strain, no pumping, just a slight pull of the rope. excellent way to start a new life!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by thriftyshopper Great mower
Better than sliced bread! I've had my lawn boy for about 4 years! Very easy to start. Best yet is that this year I decided to mulch all my acre of leaves. Put on blower attachment, went around in circles to "aim" towards middle, kept mulching till ALL leaves disappeared into the lawn. (Then I spread limestone on lawn to help break down mulched leaves and feed the lawn). Don't know how lawn will look next spring but sure was worth the try! Only "problem" I have is that after 4 years, I don't "feel" the self-propelling as much.

Lawnboy came assembled with only the grass bag to put on the grass bag frame. Started right up after oil and gas were added.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sportsync Horrible design, PLASTIC wear parts!
We have had this mower for a total of 5 months, and it has already been in the shop being repaired twice. The first time the entire transmission was replaced and some hardware on our rear wheels. The second time the SAME hardware on the rear wheels failed again. The service tech said that this is one of the poorest designed mowers he has ever seen, and that we'd probably have "lots of trouble" with this mower during it's lifespan. He said the rear drive parts are plastic. We use this on a somewhat steep grade hillside, so we give the mower a workout- and it has failed miserably.
I also dislike that the drivetrain only has one speed, I've never had a self propelled model where you couldn't select faster/slower drive speeds.
We are probably going to sell this and buy another brand, after first seeing if Home Depot can't help us out since they agreed to sell this terrible model. Lawn Boy used to mean quality, now it means plastic from China with a price like steel from the USA.
