These brushes are perfect for craft projects and touch-ups around the home, the variety of sizes is what I needed and the brushes are perfect for small art projects. These are not artists brushes but craft brushes, Very affordable and I had no issues with hair coming loose as I saw in some reviews. I would buy this product again when these are used up.

i have a little advice. since everything is made in china now to un exacting standards, we need to use a little american ingenuity to get their products to work right. crimp the brush heads with vise grips before using, thus no more shedding

These are ideal when using an oil-based paint for an outdoor design project. The bristles do not pull loose, and the paint doesn't glob up @ the head. A much better value than the brushes from the art stores.

If you are tempted to buy this set of small brushes, you can save yourself a step and drop your $3.97 straight into the trash can. I used the two largest brushes for some touch-up work and was constantly having to deal with the fact that they were shedding bristles with every stroke and would not hold their shape. My advice: spend a few dollars more at an artist supply store and get some decent brushes, you will definitely not be happy with these cheapies.

Unless you like the texture of stray hair in your paint you are better off avoiding these brushes. I purchased these to do detail work on trim and windows, and its not going to happen. Every stoke left behind 5-10 little inch long bristles that were a real eyesore. No matter what I couldn't get these brushes to quit shedding. Save your money and go elsewhere for this type of brush.
