Can I connect 3 of them together?
Asked by: Jorge
Great question. I don't see why not. I have connected three soaker hoses together and they have worked fine. I believe the main concern then would be that all the washers at all connection points be new and in good condition.

I bought 2 of these 2 years ago. The first season they turned black. Really black and I'm not able to clean the black off. It is like it is part of the hose itself - sort of like an organic change in the material the hose is made of. One, I'm not sure if this effects the water and makes it unsafe for watering vegetable plants and secondly, does any one have an idea of how I might clean this? I emailed the company and they suggested using a Mr. Clean eraser. That did nothing. I don't want to use bleach and then worry about that leaching into the vegetables I'm growing. I liked the hose initially, but then the black appeared and now I guess both of these are headed for the trash. Any suggestions?

Yes. I believe I noticed mine had some black on them too. Its gone now. I believe it is because the air and the weather are so dry now. Try a good dose of sunlight and keep them very dry for a couple of weeks. See if that helps.

what attachments are needed?

what attachments are needed?
Asked by: Shelly
Most people connect it to the house onto something called a hose bib which is attached to your plumbing system for a water source. Then for the other end you can put several things on it, such as a spray nozzle, the brass cone shaped ones are very reliable and popular. Another option is a sprinkler for the grass or a watering wand for plants and gardens.

It seems very durable and is long enough so that in case of any situation I can get the nozzle to the other side of the house from either route. Very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not that heavy Was worried about how heavy this hose would be. It is light & easy enough to move around the yard. I wouldn't say it is 100% kink free but any kinks work themselves out without a lot of hassle.

This hose is lighter in weight in comparison to commercial, yet it remains pliable and resists kinking (a big issue with our old commercial hose) Winds up easily on our new hose reel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent hose I am a 5'1" 68 yr old woman who grew tired of fighting the fight of the 100 ft garden hose..........which is needed to reach all the areas of my yard. So I went on a hunt for a hose that was easier to handle, well made, and would last. I wasn't even concerned about the price. That is how much I wanted this. And I did come across hoses that were twice the price of flexzilla and got pretty good reviews. But thank goodness I kept looking because I literally stumbled across the flexzilla. I like it. It is so much easier to handle. My intention at first was to buy two 50 ft hoses thinking that would make it even easier, but for reasons I don't remember I ended up buying the 100 ft. hose. I wish I had stuck with my original idea because that would have made it even easier. However, I am still happy with my purchase. The hose is well made, lighter weight that most brands, and if it does kink......just give it a little twist and the kink is gone..........no trips back and forth to straighten it out as you pull it across your yard or when you wind it back up. In the past I used a hose reel on wheel which I pulled around the yard. But after tiring of doing that (not to mention trying to get it in and out of my shed which is 2 ft. off the ground) I switched to storage pots. The first hose I bought to put in one of the pots was horrible getting back in the pot and to handle period! The flexzilla is easy. Still takes a few minutes to do it but is so much easier. There is a video of someone demonstrating this hose on Youtube. That is what sold me.
