Works the way it is supposed to. This is an intermediate type connector. Not industrial rated, but not as expensive as the higher rated plugs either. Great general purpose use.I created a 12 foot extension cord. It will carry all of the current that I will ever apply through it.

Simple and easy to install and very durable. I love these plugs because they are better than what manufacturers put on their own products. so easy to install with no problems.

For someone who knows nothing about this kind of stuff, it was pretty easy to put together. I did have to go into their website for a little more info. But I didn't know that much about this kind of thing

One thing that I dislike is the price. After you buy one end or both the overall cost is not at times close to a new cord.
I like this style due to the ease of putting it back together. The other model where you have to screw it in from the backside is a pain. Just make sure that you use a good screwdriver with a good tip.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Trip Nice price, but...
In the past I have purchased probably ten or so of these 3-prong, male cord bodies. The issue I have with them is there is no space allowed for the cord to enter the plug body itself. In the past I have always used a Dremel tool to grind away on the plastic clamp in order to make an opening for the 3-wire cord (16 ga.) to pass thru so I could clamp the cord body back together again. If you're up to doing that, as I have been until now... then sure, it works. But I'm tired of spending an extra 10 minutes to make an opening for the cord to enter so it can be clamped securely to the plug body. As it is, it's a poor design and I will have to pay more money for a 3-wire plug body that I don't have to fiddle with in order to install a round, 3-wire cord into.
