Depends on your personal preferences & decor. This photo actually makes it look better than it does in person.
So far it functions fine, only time will tell if it's durable or fail prematurely as others have said about this brand. I have not had any trouble plugging anything in, as stated in other reviews.
As for appearance, it looks like what it is - cheap grey plastic. It does NOT look anything like nickel as described. It might look good on a grey wall, but for my tastes & in my bathroom decor (beige walls w/white trim & nickel fixtures), I think it looks tacky, like a FAILED attempt at better than standard white or almond. I think I could have done as well or better with a spray can of metallic paint. Maybe it will grow on me, but for the simple, clean look I am targetting, I wish I went with the less expensive standard white.
Also, I paid online & picked up in store, they just handed me the bag without checking my ID.

I am very happy with the Pass & Seymour switch plates; they have updated my 50 year-old house and 29 year old addition

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rick Excellent looking and excellent performing
These outlets ARE tamper resistant although you can't see shutters covering the plug inserts like you can on most non-decorator outlets. I THINK the shutter release is in the grounding hole because it's difficult if not impossible to insert a two prong plug. A three prong slides right in. So don't think you have the wrong outlet because you can't see the shutters or that the plug is defective because you can't insert a two prong plug. Just put 2 to 3 prong adapters on your two prong appliances and you will be safe, secure and good looking.

Installed several of these outlets in my kitchen, then tried to plug in various appliances... normal plugs won't fit into the outlet! The new tamper resistant shield is inside the switch, and makes it nearly impossible for many cords to be inserted without a real struggle. Takes 20 seconds of prying and twisting to plug in a blender or a mixer. Tried with several different plugs and multiple outlets... same result. It's only a matter of time before either the plug will fail, or the outlet will jam or break. Had to rip them all out!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JAS368160 Tricky, but they work!
These are tamper resistant, so you have to put the plug in at an angle in order to get the plug in. If you put the plug in straight on, it won't work. From an aesthetic point of view, if you are putting these into a stainless steel kitchen, let's say, they look great! They are so much better than the contractor gray color and certainly better than white, cream (heaven forbid) or black. The nice color is worth the few extra dollars compared to the usual.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JasonSalz NOT tamper resistant!
I ordered 11 of these - either someone repackaged ALL of them, or the company screwed up, because what I received - although the same product # - were regular duplex outlets. They did NOT feature "flaps" to keep kids from sticking Barbie hands in them, and they were NOT tamper resistant. (I then ordered the same thing on Amazon, with the same result- those are going back too.)
Very disappointed with this brand; not HD's fault, though I can't believe I'm the first to realize this- perhaps just the first to bring it up?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wally Great upgrade from white!
Remodeled our bathroom and wanted a classy look since the plugs needed to be mounted into the vanity. The brushed nickel compliments the faucets and drawer pulls perfectly!
