Switches/Power

If you have something plugged in, and you push the switch to the off position on the one plug, I would guess it cuts the power to the device you plugged in OR does it switch off all 4 outlets? If I switch the one off that the DVD player is plugged into, will that stop sending ALL power to that unit, thereby saving "warm mode" electric? Hope you understand this question. Thanks
Asked by: Edgy1
Each outlet on the UL215BC is controlled by its own switch adjacent to it. For example, if you turn the switch next to first outlet off, only the first outlet will be de-energized. The other three outlets will still be on. As far the "warm mode" question, I suppose you are referring to the standby mode that electronics typically default to when you turn them off. Electronics do draw a small amount of electricity while in standby. If you use the switch on the UL215BC to turn off the DVD player, it will stop this small electricity draw.
