I got this bench to have outside the back entrance to my home during the warmer half of the year. It was easy to assemble, and is sturdy enough to sit on, to park bags after shopping (while unlocking the door), or park my phone and small tools when working in the yard. Because it is lightweight, it will be easy to move inside during the winter. Although it was easy to assemble, one cross-piece wouldn't go into its slot all the way; I put a 2x4 on it and hammered, but it wouldn't budge. I tried again in summer's heat but it still wouldn't budge. This imperfection really doesn't affect function, and the snug fit of all the pieces means there is no wiggle in this bench. In terms of durability, I'll wait to see how well it survives summers outside.

As stated in a previous review, I used a rubber mallet and was able to assemble the bench without any problems. I'm a female senior citizen.

The bench was very easy to install, just feel that the item is a little pricey for what you get.

Used my rubber mallet as suggested to put the legs together. When I tried to finish by hammering on the top bench, I could not get it to snap together. After trying over and over again, I finally took it to my local Home Depot. A lady there (oh how I wish I had gotten her name) began pounding on it and finally, with the use of some dish soap and a board, it snapped in place. It is a perfect addition to my little front porch. I am so thankful for the kindness shown at the Home Depot store.

The product was sturdy and OK for the price but the color was way off from the picture and description. It states it has grey legs and they are a beige, a little disappointing as I wanted grey.

Didn't have a rubber mallet, so just bunched up a pair of BBQ gloves and hammered on them. Worked OK, but had to be very forceful with that hammer.

I just needed a little bench to replace a wooden one that had been eaten by carpenter ants. This fit the bill. It seems to be a tad too expensive for what you get, but at least the ants won't destroy it. It is sturdy and not bad looking, and I'm not afraid to plunk my 200 lbs down on it. Assembly - well don't judge by me - I have trouble putting a sandwich together. You really need a rubber mallet (recommended in instructions) - but there are no other special items you'll need. You can do it alone (I did).
