Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by kisel Good looking shed, easy to put together, deters raccoons and keeps the bins out of the wind and rain. However, the panels are quite thin and it is not as sturdy as I expected. The arms didn't work (or I wasn't
strong enough to close the lid) so I took them off the lid. Less than 2 months after purchase the top part of the side panel cracked and broke off. Called the company & they wouldn't replace the panel suggested gluing the broken piece on & reinforcing with a metal plate. I did this 3 wks ago and it is holding but I decided not to open the lid to put refuse in the bins in case it breaks again. The stain is wearing off on the lid so I will have to re-stain it in the spring.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by islandgardener1 horizontal refuse storage shed
We put this shed together in no time (few hours). The instructions were very easy to follow and everything we needed was in the package. Looks great and will make a big difference to our home's appearance.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BowenMA Everything as promised and more
I was so pleased that Home Depot lived up to its promise of free delivery to Bowen Island (even though we're way closer to Vancouver than Whistler many company's don't live up to their offer to deliver here).
The Shed arrived in a large box (wish there was some way of packing without styrofoam) with VERY easy to understand directions (hint: look at the pictures VERY carefully). The Shed was easy to assemble and looks awesome.
Highly recommended if you're looking to hide your refuse/recycling bins.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sezme Pretty good shed
It's functional, fairly easy to put together, reasonably well made, and even smells kind of nice (until you put some garbage in it). There is no base for it, so you may need to make one depending on the kind of surface you're putting it on.
Contrary to another review on this page, it works fine in Toronto as long as you don't have an xtra-large size bin. The large size will fit, but to be sure, just measure your bins first and compare that with the interior dimensions of this shed. Works fine for me with a large recycle bin, a small garbage bin, and a normal sized green bin.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AJA35 Good but overpriced
I'm happy with this overall. It's does the job, is reasonably well made (though certainly not bombproof) and looks nicer than a pile of bins. That said, it is WAY overpriced. If it were say, $200, I'd give it 4 -5 stars. At over $400 for something I had to spend an hour assembling myself, I expected higher quality/durability. So it's a good product, but not necessarily a good value.

Good product. Easy to assemble. Attractive when completed. Would be better if a bottom was included.
Worst part of the order was getting the unit. Tracking number did not work and no one could locate the shipment even though we were advised it had been shipped. then it just showed up - 3 days lete!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Howrd GREAT ITEM, GREAT VALUE
This is a well designed product in terms of functionality and appearance, fits perfectly on the side of my garage. The item assembles very easily, it took me a little more than 1 hour to put it together. It functions as described and easily fits all my garbage bins inside. The wood looks great, it comes already stained. It is very rare nowadays to get a solid wood item of this size for such a low price. This is an exceptional value.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Chill2000 Do not buy this product if you live in Toronto
This shed can only be purchased online. Once you assemble it, you will find that it is not large enough for the large size City of Toronto waste or recycling bins. It may also be too small for other bins, but we only have the large ones.
The picture is misleading as it shows the city-issued bins inside the shed. However, the bins are both too tall and too deep to fit.
