I didn't realize the covers were so wide (about 2-1/2 inches) and sticks out from the wall one inch. I only needed a cover for TV wire. I guess this would be good if you have several wires to hide. You also must screw this into your wall with two holes every eight inches. The screws are too short to go into my drywall and be secure. This is not very easy to install and once in place you must disassemble the whole thing to add any wires later (from a new DVR, etc.). I gave up after trying to secure one section. I guess if you had the proper screws, a lot of time and a lot of wires -- it might work for you. Lastly there were no instructions in my box; however, is quite easy to figure out.

This cord management system is a light beige plastic which can be painted to match your wall. The kit includes a variety of pieces for a typical set up. There's 10 feet of total kit, but if you're not using any of the corner or angle pieces, its is closer to about 8.5 feet just using the straight pieces. The inside of the pieces are 2 1/8" wide and just shy of 3/4" deep at the highest point, so it can accommodate multiple cords. Install is easy, it comes with small nails that secure each piece to the wall. The main pieces are 8" long and the end/beginning pieces are 4" long. A very versatile kit.

Looks better on the box. You can shape it any way you want. However, after opening the box, I was surprised to see so many pieces to this. I was also surprised that each section had to be screwed in. I was under the impression that it was a snap and go. This seems great for people that are really handy, but not for my husband. Also, if you want to change the location of any of the wires, everything needs to be taken apart and put back together. For us, it seemed more a hassle than a convenience.

This product looks good online but is poorly designed. I would have thought there was a base plate that attached to the wall that the channels would snap onto. Instead, each piece has 2 diagonal angled holes on the bottom that 3/4-inch screws are put through that are supposed to hold it to the wall. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it, it didn't work for me. The 8-inch piece cantilevered above the point of attachment rotated away from wall and fell down. If you managed to get it to hold (on wood paneling maybe) you would have to remove each section if you needed to add additional wires.
I returned it to the store and found one there that was a 2 part assembly, a base plate attached to the wall and a snap on cover (as I expected this to be) for half the price. Worked and looks great, fortunately it was wide enough to cover the holes left by this.
