Answer:
Good day,
To have the switch control power going to the adjoining outlet, you connect the hot wire to the brass screw terminal and the neutral wire to the silver screw terminal. Do NOT remove the brass tab.

Answer:
You'd basically need to wire the hot lead and have another lead connect to the other receptacles BEFORE it reaches the switch in the junction box.
This will give you the ability to control just that outlet, but the other outlets are still independent of it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality product. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very durable. It would have been great if they include a wiring instruction in the box for an average home installation. Not recommended for weekender homeowner, fixer. I had to check my previous installation I made years ago to properly wire the product. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by electric materials very easy to use & install, easy to follow instructions February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by looks great fits into socket, looks great. would recommend this item February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent compromise Needed to get a power outlet into a space where only a light switch and no other cabling is. Adding another box with proper power outlets would have meant quite some effort, money and time. This was a very acceptable compromise and works like a charm. - Easy to install. - You have the option to either switch the power outlet on and off with the switch or have it always on - Good quality. Will buy a second one soon for another location I do not want to open the drywall and drill holes. The only odd thing is the switch going sideways, but I can see why they had to do it that way and getting used to that takes only a few times using it. September 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Night light deluxe Great way to and a night light without using up a socket. We have a small bathroom with only one electric socket and we have to unplug something to plug something in. This light switch has a good night light built in. You can adjust the brightness off the night light by holding down the night light. If you are replacing a standard light switch you will needed an extra piece of wire to correctly wire this critter up and it takes just bit more wiring knowledge than your standard light switch. The only down side to the switch is the night light won't work during a power failure. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfectly Safe Switch/Outlet Installation was easy and it's protective shutter that opens when needed and shields the Port holes from foreign objects protects the little ones. January 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice update to old light switch I would like to see this replacement for an old standard switch, with a USB and the rocket with receptacle. October 13, 2015
