Rated 3 out of 5 by Product works but shutoff time adjustment could be better I just installed the Leviton IPS02 Motion Sensor Single Pole switch for a walk-in closet. The switch installed easily according to the instructions, and once the ground wire was attached and the switch powered up, it is working correctly, automatically turning on and off the closet lights. I just spent about an hour trying to find a shutoff time between 32 seconds and five minutes. I would prefer somewhere between one and two minutes for a shutoff time, but have settled for 32 seconds. I recommend this product if you can live with the not very selective shutoff time. Note that I did not try any shutoff times greater than five minutes. April 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good sensor Easy to change as a normal light switch, though it's a bit large so it may be difficult to fit into older or very full boxes. Instructions were not very clear as far as customizing the settings for sensitivity and timing. Couldn't get it to work right away because I had the settings reversed. Once figured out it works well. Senses and switches on very quickly. My big complaint is the lack of reasonable delay times. 30 seconds, 5 minutes, ... etc. I need something intermediate like, 1 minute or 2 minutes. It shuts off too quickly, though 5 minutes is a long time for the lights to remain on after leaving the room. September 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works well but pay attention to instructions Installed in a shed to keep from leaving light on. Had to replace first unit during installation because it would not turn off. Had trouble with replacement but my fault for not attaching ground wire. Diagram is misleading but fine print does say ground is needed. Home Depot salesperson was very helpfull in pointing this out. Unit is very sensitive, feral cats in shed can trigger it. Can be turned off manually as long as you are not in the sensing area. October 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works great I installed 2 of these, 1in master closet and 1 in my basement. Both have fluorescent lights and they work every time. The only thing I would add is a switch to keep it on since it is blocked from view when lm in one corner. October 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not work Every switch on the shelf had been opened, repackaged and taped shut. Wired it up according to the directions and.... nothing. Followed the troubleshooting ... nothing. My guess is that people are returning them and they are being resold without being checked out. Returning it is on my list of things to do , but I'm busy and its a hassle, thanks - October 14, 2014
