This plug accepts 14 ga. to 6 ga. wire according to the spec sheet. Unsure if there is sufficient clamping for 14 ga. Currently using 8 ga. cable in my installation.

Answer:
This plug is NEMA 6-30/50P, Leviton Cat. No.931. It is a 250V plug.
Apparently it was confused with a NEMA 5-30/50P, Leviton Cat. No. 930 plug which is 125V.

Answer:
I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, but this can be configured for NEMA 6-30 and 6-50 usage only. If you need any other type of plug, I would make sure you look into a properly-rated plug for your application.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A good 30/50 Amp 2-Pole/3-Way Grounded Angle Straight Blade Plug The plug was easy to assemble and worked perfectly. August 16, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Leviton 30/50 amp 2 - pole /3- way plug It's universal I mad a exstenchon Cord for my welder June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Welder Plug This plug is made from a durable nylon-like plastic with brass contacts. The body is held together with 4 screws, & nuts, unlike competitors which have 2 screws and a hinge, which breaks. All the wire leads are attached straight in, the competitors have a 90 deg. ground attachment. This makes it easy to attach wiring; NO excess cutting, stripping, and trying to figure wire routing in the plug. Home Depot is the only supplier that I found that carries this plug locally (Luling, Lockhart, Seguin & San Marcos, TX). Yes, I looked! June 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Plug A little flimsy and hard to get wires started but once you have the wires tightened it tightens up and closes just fine Also like the different blade position's available Nice and big and easy to get a grip on June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Plug and Play - Almost This was to be used for a temporary adapter cable, so the ability to reconfigure the plug for either 30 or 50 amp circuits is a plus as it may allow reuse for other applications in the future. Care must be taken when assembling the blades into the housing that they are fully inserted and perpendicular to the plug cap face..take the time to make sure they are fully seated before wiring it up. The use should be careful to properly size the cable conductors based on the circuit ampacity for which the plug will be configured. March 26, 2016
