Installs and functions easily. It does protrude from the wall plate further than the other outlets in the same box though. Not sure if you can obtain a flush finish with this one. Cut one star for that.

One of my customers needed 4 USB ports to charge a handful of phones and other devices. This product was nice because I could use a single gang box. Quality was fine and no problems with the install. Uses a standard decorator wall plate.

Love this USB charger. I put it in my kitchen where I usually have all my devices charging. Install was simple: shut off power, remove old wall plate and out, swap in new USB outlet, turn power back on. I was up and running in less than 10 minutes. For those who don't know what is the significance of amps - in a nutshell, it determines how fast a device will charge. More amps, the faster the charge. And with four outlets, I have room for all my devices and my friends as well. Great product!

I wanted a better USB charge for some time and then i saw this one. Wow, im so happy with this 4.2 amp charging. I could not figure out where I wanted to put in and even when I found the spot I did not want to give up my other outlets, so I built a box out of Paduak wood for it so its portable and even put in an on/off switch on the back.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jason31 Great advancement for charging devices
As we move to more and more mobile devices, we need a place to charge them. This plug provides one location to charge 4 devices. The power output is enough to charge all 4 at the same time, I tested with 2 lighting Ipods and 2 regular Ipads. I could not feel any head from the plug, indicating it was not over loaded and the devices charged in their normal time.
This USB plug is the same size as a GFI so swapping out a kitchen plug for this one is easy. If you use it to replace a standard receptacle, it may be harder to fit in the box since a standard plug is about half the size.
I am very happy with the performance and look of this plug and it has really cleaned up the device charging station.

This is a clean install of a four outlet USB power source. It went in with no issues and works as described. This can charge four devices at once. I haven't had any issues with it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jswobe a very convenient way to add USB ports with out blocking a receptacle
I tried this in three different locations in my house, just because I wasn't sure where I wanted to put it, or where it would make the most sense. Eventually, I decided that I needed to turn a one-gang receptacle location into a two-gang so that I would not lose any 120 volt receptacles. I think it was the right choice, and it looks the best. I have it in my kitchen now, above the section of countertop on the side of the kitchen that collects everyone's phones, tablets and laptop. It was the "charge center" of the kitchen before; with this 4-port USB charger, it now works much more efficiently and looks a LOT better.
It fit the back box properly, the wall plate fit around it properly, and it came with wires pre-installed so I was able to wire it direct to the GFCI outlet next to it (see the pics). Other than the work it took me to change the one-gang box to a two-gang, it was easy to install. I like it, and my wife likes the way it looks - especially compared to the mess of large USB to 120-volt adapters we had to try and rearrange before.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LetMeUseMoreCharactersHer Excellent Performance, Superior to Other Solutions
I bought this USB wall outlet hoping that it would provide faster charging for most of my devices. I was not disappointed. I have no other charger that can charge USB devices anywhere near this quickly. This stands alone and its own category of efficiency.
Because I did not want to sacrifice an outlet, I considered either widening a gang box or retrofitting it with an on-wall gang box. I used the latter technique.
I am so impressed that I plan on installing three more: kitchen, living room, and master bedroom.
Be advised 4.1A is an accurate maximum output rating, so while it'll charge my Galaxy S4 alone in about 1.25 hours (amazing, right?), it charges three or four devices noticeably more slowly. So for midday charging, use one device at a time if you're in a hurry; use all plugs for an overnight charge.
You will love this thing!
