Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for small data network I used this to terminate 11 data lines in my home remodel. Worked out perfectly for the data but was not big enough for data and cable tv lines. I needed a second box for the cable lines. They make a bigger box if you want both in one box but I preferred to separate them into two boxes. Nice layout and very nice for organizing all the data lines. August 8, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Leviton Media Enclosure This enclosure is big enough to hold your phone connections for up to 4 lines, wired Network connections to 4 rooms, cable connections (with amplifier) to 4 rooms, and can be equiped with a 110v duplex outlet for powering the amplifier and a network switch. It is designed to fit between two studs in a laundry room or closet and comes with a cover plate the screws in to provided, threaded holes. All of the accessories have snap-in studs that fit into the provided holes in the back of the unit. Knock-outs are provided to feed wiring in/out of the unit. The unit is quick to easy to install and wire. Just be sure to provide a grommet or other insulation between the wires and the edges of the knock-outs. If your needs are larger than the four rooms that this unit provides, Leviton also has a 14"x28" unit for more extensive projects. I was able to install the unit, the accessory modules and all the in-wall wiring in a single weekend. This Enclosure made the installation easy! September 1, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Acceptable PROS: Fair Priced, Nice finish, sturdy, has pre-drilled holes for common conduit sizes, pre-drilled hole for AC power jack, holes-spacing accepts my Channel Vision 8 ports RCA patch panel. CONS: Comes with no accessories whatsoever, just the 4 screws and some felt pads. Amazingly the box is NOT SQUARED, at least by the cover's screws holes, and if u standard-mount it with the taps between two studs, the door will hang with the Leviton logo sideways, a minor gripe but still. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great, if rather pricey, structured media box Leviton makes a very good system of structured media products for home installation. I have bought their stuff for years as I have slowly extended my home network (data, telephone, video, audio) throughout my home. This was my 5th structured media enclosure, so clearly, I am sold on the product. My only issue is that the products are comparatively expensive, and I think the company would enjoy much more success winning customers to install more of their systems if they priced the components more reasonably.
