Great for old knees and backs. The handles to help you up from a kneeling position are priceless. Despite being made in China it is fairly solidly built. My father in law saw mine and I had to buy one for him. He loves it also.

After reading many reviews of many products across the internet, I ordered the Garden Kneeler and Seat for the seat capability since I had many weeds in my yard to remove. I decided to try this one because the rave reviews I saw were from people who had ordered it for themselves and actually used it - unlike many rave reviews of other products given by the purchaser who gave it away as a gift (usually to a parent or parent-in-law). When I got it, I thought it might be higher than I needed and almost returned it before I tried it. However, I did try it and I love it! The little handles on the side make it very easy to move as you move forward while weeding by just scooting forward and moving the seat along with you so you don't have to stand up each time to re-position the seat. I just raise up an inch or two and move forward. The only improvement I would recommend would be to add a fold-out third leg in the back to keep it steady and lessen the risk of tipping over backwards (when using it as a seat). I honestly have only tried it as a kneeler in my house and it seemed fine and comfortable - but I just don't want to put that constant pressure on my knees for an hour or two of weeding that I do at a time. I am glad I bought it, glad I tried it, and for me it is a keeper.

The kneeler/seat is strong, well made and dimensions are just what I wanted, so I ordered it despite the fact that it was the most expensive one I found on the internet. But the kneeler cushion itself is very hard. After a day of pulling weeds, my knees hurt. And the next day, I tried to weed again, but simply couldn't because my knees were very sore. I've had a similar item for years, but it finally broke which is why I replaced it. The kneeler cushion on that wasn't cushy, but it was somewhat softer and I never had this problem with sore knees. I unfortunately had to return it.

If you have arthritic knees, this is the tool. This is very helpful mainly in getting up and down and if you are an old person like me who likes planting vegetables and dahlias, this is a needed tool for the garden.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by arbuckle Lifetime manufacturer's warranty is worth a lot to me.
I have used a garden kneeler since they first came on the market. This manufacturer's version of the product seems exceptionally sturdy. I know there are some "knock-offs" that have the unpleasant tendency to buckle, but I doubt anything like that will ever happen to this one. The steel tubing used seems strong-- otherwise how could the manufacturer sell it with a lifetime warranty? My only niggling observation: the springs holding the latch for opening and closing are quite tight, tight enough so that some elderly people may have trouble with it, Other than that,, I'm pleased with its design.

This works better for me than I expected. I weigh 220, and I'm 63. This is rock steady when standing up from the kneeling position. And makes a great portable stool too. It's easy to fold up too. I've only had it for one planting season, so only time will tell how well it stands up in the long run.

The garden kneeler makes gardening much easier on my body and more enjoyable. The seat could have just a little more cushion to be more comfortable, but it is much better than just kneeling on the ground. The arms on the side makes getting up much easier as well. When flipped over, the bench works well.
