Gopher Bait Applicator

Frequently Bought Together

Product Overview

Pocket gophers and moles are voracious and feed on any type of vegetation found underground. They destroy food trees by gnawing away the roots, and they also ravage tuber and bulb gardens. Placing poison bait directly in the gophers tunnel with a minimum of disturbance is the most effective method of control. Pocket gophers and moles are active year-round, but the best time for baiting is in late winter and early spring when the soil softens, just before the pocket gophers reproduce and have young.

  • Injects poison underground directly into tunnels
  • Keeps poison away from children and pets
  • Eliminates handling the bait and most messy spills
  • Improved larger barrel accommodates most common baits
  • Note: Product may vary by store

The pellets seem to be crushed from falling thru the applicator pole. Are they supposed to gently fall thru the pipe without the applicator crushing them? Or is it ok to have most of the pellets get broken up into tiny bits and pieces? Is the applicator working right?

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Weak handle! My handle broke quickly. Apply force to center pole rather than handle. The whole time that you leave the switch open lets bait flow continuously unmeasured; so just do 2 quick operations while in tunnel void then secure under latch to close. Put a leaf then sand over the hole; they avoid lighted tunnel areas. June 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work. There is a hole near the bottom of the pole from which poison pellets are supposed to come out. However, this hole gets filled with ground soil when you insert it into the ground right away and then you can no longer turn the handle and nothing comes out of the hole. It is useless and I am returning it to the store. Very disappointed. January 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by this is what you need to RID your lawn! Don't waste your time with traps and gas. Use this applicator with good poison and be done with them FAST. I tried the others and spent a fortune. September 27, 2013
