Answer:
check any hardware store or where they sell nuts and bolts. look for a longer machine screw with matching nut. be sure it goes through the knob center, then through cabinet face all the way with room to fasten the nut at the end. I am looking for them too and found several. one antique knob has a slightly smaller center, so going to check other stores for the machine screw & nut.

I'm having trouble tightening the bolt cap to the screw once the knob is entirely covering the bolt cap. Therefore, the knob is loose. Help!

Answer:
Sounds like either the inside of the bolt cap might be stripped or you cabinet might be a little thin and you may need a shorter screw. If it's only happening with one knob then I would definately think it would be stripped inide the bolt cap.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect for our vanity These drawer pulls were exactly what I was looking for. They are perfect on our vanity and also match the chandelier that we purchased from Home Depot. I would recommend them. August 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by loved them I had refurbished my boring cabinet doors with lathe trim (resulting in "shaker style") They were painted white as my home is cottage style. I looked for sometime to find the right knobs and considered glass knobs put it appeared the only kind in my budget were fake glass. I was about to drive the hour to the nearest Home Depot when I remembered I could shop on line and found not only perfect REAL glass knobs but affordable ones too, and to top it off FREE shipping. thank you very much February 19, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful knobs I shopped around for clear glass knobs for my original 1940 white kitchen cabinets for months before finally purchasing these. They look beautiful in my kitchen and add a litte bling to my cabinets. They're well made and sturdy. And they were cheaper than other online stores. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Classic look for a great price These glass knobs look really great on my furniture, and the quality is good. They bring both a historic and girlie look. The only negative is that the photo doesn't show that there's a silver pin in the middle of each knob, which the screw at the back attaches to. I was not happy about this at first, but overall the knobs have a great look and the silver doesn't bother me at all. Would buy again. September 29, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Phenominal Value and Look! I bought 72 of these Glass Knobs for my kitchen in an 1863 house. They came with silver rod in the middle of the knob and I painted the circle that showed dark bronze. They look so outstanding! March 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Real glass - looks great and is sturdy We bought an 1869 farm house with a beautiful pantry. All door knobs and drawer pulls were missing. We decided to install these glass knobs on the cabinets. They look beautiful and are very sturdy. Because they are glass, we don't have to worry replacing them with different knobs once we get around to painting or stripping the cabinets. September 1, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality! These EXCEEDED my expectations! They are beautiful and the way they assemble is great (no nut and stem protruding into the cabinet/drawer that can snag the way some of them do). These truly are beautiful and well made. March 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect! This quality product was the perfect addition ot our sunroom built in to retain the look of our 81 year old home! May 14, 2011
