15-11/16 in. Satin Nickel Over-The-Door Smooth Hook Rack is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking, May need modification for some doors. OVERALL: Looks great, nice satin finish with long gracefully curved hooks. Hangs low so shorter people can reach. Needs modification for some doors. Screw holes should be tapered for wood screws. LOOKS: Pretty much looks exactly how you would hope. Long gracefully curved hooks looks nice, and catch towels or robes easily. Finish and welds look perfect. FIT: I needed to add pieces of chair felt pads in between the door and hooks. Without it the over the door hooks tilt up and hit the frame. INSTALLATION: The screw holes in the opposite side would work, but since they were not tapered so wood screws could sink into them, the screw stuck out making it impossible to close the door.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and great There are nail holes so that you can nail it to the door but I didn't want to do all that,I just threw it over the door and it's perfect! I'm thinking about getting two more for my bedroom and other bathroom

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best one I've seen yet These extra-large over-door hooks have one big advantage over smaller ones - they don't shift or slide if you load them unevenly. That keeps them from chewing up the finish on the door. Of course, you can always screw them into the door, but that kind of defeats the purpose, and in a rental it may not even be allowed. This set is heavy, and just hangs there. The satin nickel finish is nicely done, and should go with almost any decor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really sturdy over the door hooks These are great over the door hooks. They are made of heavy metal and should last forever. They hang farther down than other over the door hooks making them more convenient. They are stylish and look very nice. They are very well made of sturdy metal, we use them to hang our heavy winter coats on. I am going to buy another set of these because I like them so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Rack has a nice clean finish. installing is as easy as reaching over door. I put a hand towel under mine to keep from scratching the door. With towel it sits snug. The only issue I have is my older doors have a very tight tolerances so the door will not close but, since I have nosey cats I leave closet doors cracked anyways. The door and/or frame will give out before this thing breaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over Glass Shower New house with framed glass shower, tile walls, no towel bars or hooks near by. Used this rack inside of shower, hanging on frame to hold wash cloths between uses to allow them to dry and stay useable. Pieces of split vinyl tubing on end hooks keeps it away from glass.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good way to use that empty space behind a door This over-the-door rail feels heavy and very sturdy, so much so it seems that it could handle more than the rated weight capacity. The finish is nice although mine seems to have a few spots where it looks like it was sanded - the finish is not smooth all around, but it is not a show-stopper because frankly, it will be behind the closet door and out of sight. The one thing I don't care for much is the gap between the door and the back of the hook is about 1/4". Although the product description says it is made to fit a standard residential interior door, maybe our doors are not "standard" and therefore causing the gap. It doesn't impede closing the door and is more of a cosmetic issue for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install and sturdy hooks Open the door and hang it in place. You are done. That is basically it, there are pre-drilled holes if you want to secure this in place but I didn't think they were necessary. One think to check is the top of door clearance. Some of the doors in my house have less than a 1/32nd of an inch clearance and this would not fit without trimming either the door or the jam. An 1/8th of an inch should be no problem and a 1/16th would be tight but probably work.
