Answer:
Bill's answer that you have to unscrew the mounting brackets is WRONG! OMG!!! Just look for the black tabs on the sides of the slides, then pull off your drawer. They automatically lock when you reinstall the drawer. Reading the instructions really helps too.

There is a latch on each slide that allows the slide to be removed leaving 1/2 the slide mechanism in the cabinet & the other half of the mechanism attached to the drawer.

Answer:
Unfortunately you have to unscrew the mounting brackets on the drawer and take the drawer out. If you have MDF drawers and think you are going to remove them often, you might want to consider ones are removable. The screws will evidentially just spin in the MDF material.

There are small plastic release levers on the sides of the slides. You pull the drawers out full distance, and then press in or up on the plastic levers.

Answer:
There is a black plastic piece in the middle of the slide that releases the Drawer Member from the Cabinet Member. You simply press up or down on the lever depending on which side it is and pull out the Drawer Member which is attached to your drawer.

According to the H.D. web site, the weight rating is 100# per pair. They are .50" thick & 3.1" wide. Full extension means that the (approx) 18" long slides will extend outward 18".

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy and smooth action We purchased these drawer slides for a pantry project at our home. I chose them because they were ball bearing slides and could handle a good deal of weight. They were easy to install and have a nice smooth glide to them. We have tons of food, jars and other items stacked in the drawers and they are still easy to open. December 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well designed heavy duty ball bearing glides I bought these to organize my cabinets in my shop. Both of these glides are supporting shelves with heavy tools in them. They are full extension which is awsome. May 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by High Quality... The slider itself is high quality. These were to be used to add drawers into a 48" vanity. The included screws were philips type which are hard to hold while trying to start a screw hole. Replaced with #6 robertson. Had a bit of trouble getting the 2 sliders level but the end result is exactly what I wanted. They work really well! February 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These are fantastic. The package contains everything for one complete drawer. I just installed these on my desk keyboard tray. They are absolutely solid. NOTE an earlier reviewer mentions that these are individual and two were required per drawer. That is incorrect. One package contains two complete pairs which is what is required for one drawer. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cabinet slids 18 IN. BALL BEARING FULL EXTENSION DRAWER SLIDE (2-PACK) .... Very nice July 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smooth Action Ball bearing slides with smooth action. It has a small rubber stop at the end of travel to prevent "slamming" action. Note: 2 pack is 1 left & 1 right, not 2 pairs. Used on recent completion of a home bar project. Finished product well worth the extra cost to go with ball bearing. July 9, 2012
