From the pictures this does not look self closing. Does it rely on gravity to close the drawer or is there a mechanism built in so the drawer will self close?

Answer:
big dogmg, Thank you for your interest in our product. For this type of slide “self closing” refers to the curve at the end of the slide that uses gravity to close the drawer during the last few inches of travel. I hope this information is helpful. Regards, emccollum

Answer:
For side-mount and center-mount slides, typically measure the distance from the front edge of the cabinet to the inside face of the cabinet back and then subtract 1". For under-mount slides, measure the drawer length. Slides must be the same length as drawer to work properly.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Included Screws are Horrible I have built cabinets for years and decided to try these slides out being that they are well priced. The slide its self seems to be built pretty well and operates smoothly. That being said the screws that come with these slides are at best worthless. The heads strip out with incredible ease even if you pre-drill the hole. I used the recomended size of philips bit and also tryed another size just for kicks. I will not be buying these again unless I can find another cost affective screw to fit flush in them. June 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product works smoothly and is easy to install. A few more instructions would have been helpful for installation. It is easy to mistake the front from the back. Customer service was very good. At the store the salesperson informed us that the number of items needed were not available in his store nor a nearby one so we ordered online with no difficulties. Delivery was received within the expected arrival date. March 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good product for the price We bought this product to make a pull out shelf for our TV. Considering the space we were using it on was not perfectly square, we only had to redo one rail once. The only complaint or caution we can add is that the screws that were included with the slide were way too short for our application, maybe they would be good enough for a drawer, but they are very small. We used our own and the slide works great! January 17, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good enough for the money, If you want better ones, pay more money. Just know the screws are aluminum and not worth using. These are light duty sliders and do not stand up to long term or heavy use. Ok for the money compared to the more expensive ones priced at more than $15. February 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smooth Operators Nice working sliders. Simple to install in face frame cabinet. August 7, 2011
