I bought a pair of these hooks to hang towels and bathrobes on in our two bathrooms. After two years, they have held up well to constant use and wet environment. The finish is still intact and there is no sign of rust showing. The screws are monstrously long and since I had decided to screw them into a stud, I went ahead and pre-drilled the holes. This made installing the screws much easier. Even with pre-drilling, the screw heads are fairly weak metal which means you will need to get a bit that fits the screw head perfectly, use plenty of pressure and go slow if you are using a power-drill. Overall, the hooks have been a good purchase as they are stylish, have held up to the bathroom environment and were fairly inexpensive.

Half the screws broke on the two hooks I tried mounting. Heads twisted completely off while trying to tighten the hooks down.

Well ... I like it . No hang ups with this one. Easy to assemble. At first I couldn't get things to stay on it. Kept slipping off onto the floor. Then I realized that the longer end should point up! Once reversed, it held things fine. ( Should maybe have instructions included) . Gonna definitely buy another one for my pants!

The coat hooks nicely complimented the coat rack I built for the hall.

Got these for my office, the black matte finish works well with the handles on my desk.
They were easy to get on the wall. Holds a ton of weight, even without being in a stud. My co-workers and clients keep complimenting them.

These hooks have a beautiful satin finish. Importantly, the screws are strong -- they can take some torque! I installed over 30 on the backs of bedroom, bathroom, and closet doors. Only one word of caution: if you are installing on the back of a door, the screws are very long. My doors are not solid wood, but not hollow-core either, and -- if you look very closely -- you can see the screws ever-so-slightly pushing out the panel on the other side of the door. Not noticeable unless you realy look for it, but I don't know why they couldn't have made them a 1/4-inch shorter.

Really like these hooks for the rounded tips that won't piece your coat collar. The value was good - But you'll have to spend another $0.60 - 0.90 on brass screws. The ones that come with the hooks are 2 inches long. Too long for nearly any application. For example: They will of course go right trough a 3/4 inch board you might want to mount them to.
