In a household with different sleep/work schedules, the slam of a cabinet door is a big deal. Furst, we put in a new Thomasville kitchen from the Home Depot. Once we experienced the soft close, we chose to retrofit two of our bathrooms with this damper.
A peaceful home is the result! No accidental door slams, no interrupted sleep even with complex schedules.

Note that the body is plastic and not metal even though it looks like metal in the pictures and it can be scratched very easily while drilling.
The good: worked well. I only put 1 in the top of my cabinets and it seems to get the job done. Installation is fairly easy, all you need is a small drill bit and a Phillips screw driver. Pilot drill about 1/4" for the screws and the drill bit size is given in the installation instructions. I would suggest using a hand screw driver to screw in the screw as I was afraid I would break this plastic piece if I used the electric driver.
The Bad: Some what difficult to drill the hole as its at a slight angle. Most people would be attaching this to an already assembled cabinet and with the doors all attached I found my self in awkward angles to drill the holes. If you are installing them before you put your cabinets on the wall it would be much easier. The adjustment screw maybe hard to get to once installed (in my case I had my cabinets already full of stuff), so make sure you adjust it before you put them in. Once I figured out my setting I set the adjustment screw before I installed it, this seems to save some time.
Always test fit it in a scrap piece of wood before drilling holes in your cabinets. I usually do this and not always trust what the instruction manual says.

Note: they are plastic. The corners broke on some of them but I was still able to use them.

Just installed a week ago and so far they are great. I would have given 5 stars but had a couple of concerns. When I looked at the product on-line I thought they were metal, but in fact they are plastic. That may not be an issue as they are not too likely to break where they are installed at the top hinge side of the cabinet doors. One other issue is that the adjustments had to be turned nearly to the limit to allow the doors to close quickly and quietly. Just another turn or so on the adjustment screws would have let the screw fall out.
Our cabinets have hinges that are spring loaded to make the doors close but if yours do not I don't know how these can work. Self closing hinges are essential for these soft close adapters.

Once you get the hang of it they are easy to install. It does take a bit of time but not too bad. I will be finishing the rest of our doors with them. It is nice to not have the doors slam. It is a great after market install.

The Liberty Soft Close Dampers are small units measuring only 1-7/8" long by 11/16" wide by 1-13/16" high, two screw holes for either left or right door installation, chrome finish, brim goes around the entire front, adjustment screw in back.
Installs in a matter of minutes by holding the damper in place, drilling a 1/4" pilot hole with a 3/32 drill, fasten with screw. Brims on the damper help keep the unit from moving when the door closes. Turn the adjustment screw to your desired closure, you're done.
The before and after difference is remarkable, from a loud banging, to barely a whimper when the door closes. Highly recommend this product.

Very important to get the drill bit size and angle correct or you're in for somedifficult screw installation. Also, very important to seat the part back into the cabinet flush with the reference overhang, some cabinet door adjustment via the hinge screws may be necessary
