I can't locate any information on the length of the electrical cord. Since we are having a new outlet installed it would be very helpful to know how close to the unit will it have to be located.

Answer:
Someone else in the reviews said the cord is 10ft long. But the user manual says DO NOT USE an extension cord, so I'm not sure what the other person who wrote that was looking at. It also suggests you have an electrician make sure it is hooked up properly.

I called the company (Watkins, I think) and they indicated all their spas had 10 foot cords. The one I received was about 10 feet long.

Answer:
No, not as shipped. I guess you could jury-rig some type of cable and lock arrangement, but you would have to have some type of hasp to apply to the side or some external bracing.

Key Largo DLX 4-Person Hot Tub Spa with Upgraded 20-Jet Package Includes Free Energy Savings Value Package and Delivery is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hot Tub! We got this hot tub to replace a Coleman blow-up one and all I can say is WOW, so much different in a great way!! The other one we had the pump would run all the time and was loud and noisy, this one is quiet and only goes on when needed like a refrigerator. The 20 jets are great and very soothing, so glad we opted for the 20 jet one as this allows my husband and I to move around and take advantage of all of them. It is just my husband and I and it works great for the 2 of us. It does take a little bit after first filling it up to heat up the water, but we mix a little warm water with the cold as our water here in NC is very cold. It also has the light inside as well as the waterfall, which can be fun. Delivery was exactly when promised and very smooth in that the delivery guy helped get in our back yard to basement door, which is where it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Key Largo DLX - Great Product We ordered this hot tub at HD online. We received it sooner than expected in just 2 weeks. The Hot tub is delivered on a 3 foot by 6 foot pallet on its side. Three of us were able to slide it around the house, cut it loose from the pallet and tip it up onto the deck without any trouble. I partially filled it with the garden hose and then ran hot water from the washing machine supply to get the temp to 60. The instruction say to not use hot water but as long as you keep the temperature under 100 you can't damage anything. It still took 36 hours to heat to 100. The pump makes a low humming noise but is not intrusive. I am 5'7" and I step right into the tub but I built a 5" step for my 5'3" wife. The tub is like the Tardis, it is bigger on the inside. I really like the open arrangement without seat compartments and the shape of the tub allows comfortable positions from multiple angles. We did get a spa pillow for my wife so that she can sit a bit higher. Because the water level rises quite a bit with just two people, the waterfall is pretty much useless. The jets are more powerful than expected especially when the bubbles are on. During use with the jets on, the tub will maintain or increase temperature because the heater is working whenever the jets are on. Since the air is colder than the water you can adjust the bubbles to keep the temperature from rising during use. I had a little trouble with foaming until I increased the hardness of the water. It is easy to maintain the water with the ozonator. I simply add a bit of chlorine after every use and check the PH periodically. The inside surface had a few prickly spots that were easy to smooth out with very fine 1500 wet-dry sandpaper. Very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what we need and like Have just gotten new hot tub installed and running and so far so great. However...... we live in Vermont. Check back with me in February. Here is what I can tell you -- have had a Hot Springs hot tub for several years -- nice product but $7000 to replace. And each house call from the spa guys was $500. So, have gone with this tub -- seems to be more practical and bare bones. Which is fine with us. We like to sit in hot water under the stars, especially in the winter. The cost is incomparable. The product seems great (caveat --- not really cold yet) and is really basic. Which we like. Simple. Delivery was easy and not a problem and getting it up and going was easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sized hot tub We ordered this online from Home Depot. Our local store had no idea the chain was selling these and so were no help whatsoever. It's a great little plug-n-play tub. This is my second 110 tub, my first hard-shell one (my first was a Softub 300 gallon.) It was very well-wrapped and arrived on a pallet. The trucking company was late getting here with it but their driver at least used his pallet jack to haul the whole thing into my carport. My husband and I were able to get it into our back patio area by ourselves with quite a bit of strain. We've had it about fifteen months now and it has run well. Only glitch has been that the "waterfall" feature does not appear to work but I didn't really use that anyway; without this issue I probably would give five stars. The 250 gallon size is good for two people to be comfortable; you would really want only "very close friends" if you were sharing with more people at once. I really like the hinged lid which allows me to open up only one side of the tub when I use it alone--no more wrestling a heavy full-size lid off and on the tub. It takes a hair under two days to warm up when refilled as we have never put 220 in for our tubs. It tends to overheat in the summer so I have to remember to watch the temperature setting. I can step over the side of the tub and have no need for steps into it. The jets work fine. Home Depot is a middleman in this order and we had a lot of problems hooking up with the factory that actually built and shipped this tub (out of Texas somewhere I think) so be sure to give good email and phone numbers, that part was hugely frustrating. It took about a month to complete the process but I'm really glad to have a tub again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tub Happy to report that this tub works great in the mile-high city of Denver. Shipping was faster than stated by about 2 weeks. Its winter here now and as low as 20'F outside. The tub is outside. I was a little apprehensive about the 120V. I'll sit out in it with the cover 1/2 off and it will maybe drop 1'F in an hour -- with jets on full. I keep it at 104... the most its fallen is to 101 which is fine by me. It takes about 30 hours to heat up the first time from 50'F garden hose water. After that it maintains temperature no problem and takes about 1 hour to raise the temp 2'F after use. A chlorine floater makes it virtually maintenance free. I change the water about every 4-6 weeks and don't even worry about pH or Alkalinity. I would have no hesitation recommending this tub to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ahhhhhh Works great. Stays hot. Perfect size. Only negative is the users manual. It is either obsolete or just wrong in places. There is no illustration accompanying the instructions so it is confusing. No instruction on how to secure the locking straps. Etc etc etc. But the manufacturer answered all my questions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I Purchased the key largo is great. works perfect. when I first got it going I did not realize the jets run anytime the heater is on. they shut off auto when desired temp is reached. i called customer service and they explained how that works. great customer service. i will purchase a second one for a different house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to move spa through 30 inch fence gate, and place on patio. access panel is clearly marked,... easy to move spa through 30 inch fence gate, and place on patio. access panel is clearly marked, be careful not to strip bolts when re-installing panel, the power cord is coiled in lower right area, do not remove any cable or twist ties on plumbing connections. NO leaks or issues with start up, but you are advised to check the plumbing connection fittings to see that they are tight, they were, and that after filling tub and plugging in unit, there are no leaks, there were none. spa will automatically heat up to 100 degrees when you plug in the unit. make sure you leave the waterfall off, and the jet air control grey knob to closed position for initial heat-up. from 50 degree start-up, it will take one to two days to get temperature into the 90's. there are plenty of jets for each seating position, and while they do not have the massage force that a 220 volt tub will have, they are powerful enough to provide a nice massage. tub is very quiet and well-insulated, and good value for the money...enjoy
