Answer:
I do not know the actual weight limit, but I currently have 2 snow blowers, a lawn mower, an 8 cubic foot wheel barrel full of dirt, a leaf blower, a wee whacker, and several gas cans all on the floor with no buckling at all... I have mine on a concrete pad, so it is very secure

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 79 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Shed and fairly easy to assemble There are a lot of reviews of this product that indicated it was extremely hard to assemble. I did the first few steps (set up of metal roof supports) alone and then had a friend help with the assembly of the sides and connection of the roof. I had a great sale when I bought this, but it would have been great at full price too. I relocated the openable window from the back to the side based on location of my shed and my fence. This worked perfect, but I had to place both long shelves on the same side (did not realize this issue until it was too late) but not a big problem. It was delivered in boxes that were 10 feet long.. so you need to be prepared for that as well. I did have to measure some parts to determine which piece they were discussing as the individual parts are not labeled, which was annoyeing August 30, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Should have stick built a shed. This was my first "plastic" shed so I can't say how it would rate among plastic sheds. Our first choice was an Amish (already built, drop it on your spot) Shed. If it could have fit between the trees that is what we would have. I could have stick built it, but feeling a little lazy I went along with the plastic shed decision. Big mistake. If you own a circular saw and a few basic tools you can build a shed. There are lots of youtube videos. The Lifetime shed comes with directions and youtube videos. We spent the day building a floor, and putting stuff together. Everything has to be put together first before you start the actual build. I only had scheduled help for day one and had to call in favors to help with the walls, and then several days later when someone else was available, part of the roof. Until the roof was complete a 6 year old could have knocked everything down. I was able to finish it off by myself, 15 days after starting it. I could have built two wooden sheds in that time. We'll see if this shed lasts as long as the metal shed it is replacing, 30 years. I doubt it. I would not recommend this to a friend nor would I do it again. August 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Storage Takes alot of time to assemble aprox 12 hrs. Will require 2 persons. But great product July 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garden shed I was so excited about the shed until we got the floor done and the sides and trusses going up great then came the doors. Left one great, right one NOPE! Had two left floor panels so the right door wouldn't go in. At a stand still. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good shed for the money My wife researched this deeply before buying. It came out to be a good purchase for the price, and compares well to others in the category (plastic shed), of which I have owned several. I like the design of the roofline parallel to the entry, and the peaked roof on the entry. I'm 6 ft 3, and I can walk right in with no dicking even at the side walls. Instructions were frustrating, because it takes you step by step through each painstaking screw, and then just skips some stuff. (for instance, it didn't tell you to put on the back roof panels- you just had to look at the picture and see it was done in the next step). Still trying to get it leveled up so the doors close, and I put it on a concrete pad. The walls are a bit thin. I had hoped to put my riding mower in there, but I fear that if I touch a wall, it might take it out. I'll do it anyway, but with great fear, and carefulness. I noted the skylights look like they will disappear in the first hailstorm that central Texas is famous for. Will have to make covers for them in that case. Otherwise, it looks quite nice, and seems like it will last a long time. Especially like the steel roof gable supports to shore up the plastic. That will help for longevity, I think. Also, the plastic shelves are supported by steel- that will keep them from bowing in the heat like the plastic ones on my last shed. I wanted to leave the shelves out, but it looks like they add support to the structural integrity, so I installed them. I noted that their screws look like they might pull out on the ends if you put weight close to them. So, I will probably find some way of adding a steel plate to them to support on that point. Would have ben nice if they had included one with the kit. Good for keeping things out of the wind and rain, but I don't know why anybody would put a lock on this shed. It just keeps honest people honest, I guess. A real thief would just cut down a wall with a box cutter or drywall saw. Don't plan to put anything valuable in it. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great shed but challenging to assemble I assembled this by myself and I'm a woman. Can be done, took me 2 FULL days to do it. It recommends using two people but I didn't have that option. So did some steps out of order. Snapping the corner walls in was quite a challenge for me, had to view the video to do it, and even still had to hang all my weight on it to get it to snap in. BTW, don't use the address in the instructions for the video, leads nowhere, use the one from the Home Depot website. Put the shelving in last - figured it would be in my way as I hung the roof and I was right. They recommend two people to get the roof trusses up; I put the corner panels on first, only fastening the one side furthest away from the truss and that gave it stability enough to hold the truss in place while attaching it. Would recommend that for everyone instead of having someone balance a piece of steel above their head - not safe at all. For the pressure during the gable attachment I placed bricks on the outside to hold it in place - that worked well. Biggest problem was holding the doors in place while I hung the front gable; this really should have two people but it can be done alone with a lot of propping of the doors. And plan accordingly for weather; where I live we get a lot of afternoon heating which makes it windy every afternoon so I had to plan around that, making sure where what I was working on or where I stopped for the day wouldn't be affected by the wind. I read the product reviews and from the description it didn't sound too tough but it was a lot more complicated and physically demanding than I thought it would be. But overall a great shed with lots of room but give yourself plenty of time to assemble it. April 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy day project for two Have had this shed for about 2 weeks. Over all it was a easy install. Two people are needed. It was my wife and I. She has not not done projects like this before. Her and I did this very well together. The time to pre-assemble the parts took me about 2-3 hours by myself. That was easy to do. When we got working on the shed it took us about 4-5 hours. It was mostly one person would assemble while the other would hand parts. For the walls I just slid them into place and she set in the screws. The only hard part was the roof at times. At times to get the screw started someone would have to push down on the roof panel while the other started the screw. Wish the screws for parts of the roof where a little longer. For the base I think how it is covered to build is the minimum. It states to install nails. Instead I installed screws. Added joist supports. Also added solid bracing going across the middle. All of that made a huge difference in how the base felt overall. Love the shelving that comes with it. Those small corner ones come in very handy. I have a snow blower, push mower, wheel barrel, other gas powered tools. hand tools for the around the yard, and other outdoor items and I sill have a lot of room for items. When getting delivered not hot on the pallet that was used. The skid is about 8 feet long. The pallet does not have access to put a pallet jack in from the side. It was hard to get it up my driveway with a pallet jack. Luckily the driver and I worked together to get it into the garage. June 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking Storage Unit/Shed I had 2 handymen install my storage unit. They first had a 4 inch concrete slab poured. After the slab cured, it took them about 2 days total to construct. They were seriously impressed with how structurally sound the shed is. The only issue, as most others had, was the alignment of the doors. They secured the floor into the concrete slab, therefore, there was no way they were going to shim the corners of the shed like the instruction manual suggests at the end of the project. So, my doors are a bit out of alignment but it still latches shut tightly and I can still use a padlock if I choose. Also, they thought the instruction manual was very well written and easy to follow. November 24, 2011
