I bought this box elsewhere & it is green, but the model # matches. I plan to return it. What color is it at Home Depot?

Do you have a deck storage box with dimensions 4' long X 3' high X 2' wide

Your Lifetime Polyethylene outdoor box is 4'275" long X 2'1.4 " high X 2'2.7" wide and would not hold 7 chair cushions. It needs to be another 9 inches high to contain all 7 cushions.

Answer:
We do not have any recommendations on anchoring the deck boxes but any alterations made to parts will void the warranty on the altered parts.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly What We Needed! We needed something to hold our large chair cushions and keep them dry in torrential southern thunderstorms. We've had this deck box for a few months and everything has been totally dry! This deck box is large enough to hold 4 very thick over-sized cushions (seats and backs) and also the cushions for 2 ottomans with room to spare. Assembly was not difficult, although some extra tools were necessary to get things lined up, etc. But all in all we had it together in the manufacturer's expected time. The product looks very nice (not cheap) and also can serve as additional seating, if necessary. I would highly recommend this product. June 14, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by great overall but have to buy bolts to assemble Like the construction and durability of this deck box. But like many of the other reviewers noted, we had to go back to a hardware store to get bolts and screws that worked as the ones included in the set were badly made. New bolts and screws only cost us 40 cents but huge hassle factor. This is something the manufacturer really should address--the hardware included in the set should work! Once we got it together it looks good and I think will work fine. May 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No Quality Control Need to have a razor knife to trim mold flashing on all pieces. Last page in the instructions says the box is NOT waterproof, bad advertising. None of the holes needed are not pre-drilled or marked. Overall we will see how it holds up. May 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lifetime but will it really last that long? Maybe??? Instructions weren't that good or easy as not seperated out by language! and then pictures weren't specific enough so some things felt like i was guessing....and one screw busted as i tightened it and there were no extra screws to use! but it was big enough and seems solid in holding all the junk i needed it for .....so seems to be okay so far April 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Box, but.... I bought this product today. It is very well designed and would easily rate 5 stars except: The 1/4" bolts do not mate with the 1/4" nuts supplied! This is not a new problem as other reviewers have also made this comment. Fortunately, my local Home Depot supplied replacements that fit with no hassle and no charge. Also, I had to trim some of the parts to make them fit. It wasn't a problem for me, but for someone not used to assembling things it might be frustrating. Come on Lifetime, you have a good product there! For another $1 in cost you could have a great one... April 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Premium Product The design and construction is better than I had expected. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weather proof! I saw this at Costco, and after reading the reviews I ended up buying it. It is exactly what we've been looking for! After the crazy storms that came through it was bone dry inside and didn't move at all. I love that I can lock it when going out of town, it was pretty easy for husband to assemble, and it holds our deck items perfectly! May 24, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality components This project was not on my agenda, but since my husband is disabled and started it but couldn't finish I had to take over. Overall, the instructions were easy to follow. The problem was the poorly machined nuts and bolts (yes it's made in China) that came with it that wouldn't tighten beyond two turns without using double wrenches and it was still impossible to tighten all the way. I had to use mostly hand tools since the electric drill wouldn't work well since there was very little space to maneuver near the edges. I finally finished after two grueling hours. Once assembled it looks nice and seems sturdy. Hopefully where I couldn't tighten the bolts fully won't affect how it stands up in the long run. June 16, 2015
