Straight up ....12 hours to install. Directions were awful, just like others said...Everything has a number on the part itself but when you do the install guide page by page it goes to letters so there is back and forth trying to find out what they are talking about. Some directions are a bit vague. After you assemble all the trellises, doors and skylights, (about 3 hours) make sure you have enough daylight left, once you start putting up the walls you can't stop until you have the roof attached to some of the trellises to hold the walls more securely in place..they were to unstable (we thought) to let sit overnight in case of a storm blowing through, it would have collapsed the whole thing with one big wind gust. Once you start getting things in place it all falls together nicely. Comes in 3 HUGE boxes heavier than I ever thought it would be especially when you try to get them up steps with a hill (Kudos Home Depot). We made "stations" for parts and it seemed to help with staying organized. Do everything it tells you no matter how much you want to do something different (trellis..screw head IN the tracks)..everything has a reason and purpose even though it’s not clear until 5 pages later. I can say the worst part was the last thing we did and that was installing the shutters!! really...none of them lined up with the shed so we winged it! All and all it was a fun project even in the rain but I would not want to put another one together anytime soon!

First really big issue is the instructions are completely worthless. I am a certified aircraft tech of more than 20 years, and I truly struggled with understanding the instructions. I would advise anyone planning on building this shed, to read the instructions thoroughly and more than once. The first step listed is the step that should be the last. More pics of how the assemblies look after being assembled would be most helpful.
I had 2 very mechanically skilled people assist me, and it took 3 of us roughly 7 hours with all the preassembly work included.
The quality of the shed is good, and I do recommend this product. However, while Lifetime obviously spend lots of time developing the roof support structure, the walls were pretty much ignored. Only 5 screws hold each wall panel together. And the walls are NOT attached to the roof or reinforced in any manner. The snow load concern from Lifetime, seems to be aimed at the walls buckling under the snows weight and not the roofs panels collapsing. I will find out this winter how it holds up. And after complete assembly, the roof is nice and solid, while the walls just flop around if bumped. I will definitely be doing some wall reinforcing with some steel straps or "c" beams.
But for dollar to dollar value, I do recommend this shed. I got it on sale for 1685, and the equivalent wood shed would have been over 2500. Add to that having to frequently repaint or treat the wood siding and doors. vinyl is the way to go. Even if I spend some $ on reinforcing the walls, it is still cheaper than a 14x8 wood shed.
Thanks to Lifetime for a timely delivery, and the shed does look great. I will wait and see how it weathers the mid atlantic seasons.

It took a team to assemble, but the end result is fabulous. I added solar lights to both doorways to give it a custom look. Receive compliments on a daily basis

Had a tough time putting it together; instructions aren't very clear. Despite the little obstacles faced when putting it together; it's a great product. Spacious, sturdy and looks amazing.

Although the end product is good. the assembly instructions are woofully poor. The illustrations are hard to understand and there is very little guidance in the written instructions. It took much longer to figure out what to do, than it took to do. It took me and three sons many hours to complete. We are all mechanically inclined and one is a mechanical design engineer and we all became very flustered trying to follow the process of assembly. We are still trying to figure out how to mount the included shelf.

Instructions were somewhat vague until you get used to the jargon, be sure to read every word before continuing assembly. Shed comes in 3 boxes, weighing a total of 720 lbs. Need plenty of space to get organized, as parts are packed in no discernable order in the boxes, Instructions were in Box #2 I think. Spent 1 day building trusses and identifying parts, day 2 with help from my son and his friend we were able to complete the shell. Finished internal shelves, doors, and windows on day 3. I am pleased with my purchase of this shed. It fits the needs that I was looking for. I am sceptical about the strength of the shelves, 1 long and 4 corner. I think they could be attached in a sturdier method. Time will tell.

Instructions were rough . Some steps easily missed and pieces not easily identified . Just mostly wastes time eventually you will figure it out . At least 10 hours for 2 people. Seems very sturdy looks nice and water tight.
