Answer:
I would think you would want out side because it you ever want to move them you may have a mess with the dirt to clean up afterwards with ours outside we put down black paper so weeds wouldn't grow up in side

Answer:
Hi BettyJ,
I'm Travis from The Home Depot. Thanks for visiting our site.
There is a static clip that allows you to stack two units high, but there is not a clip that provides for a third layer to be stacked.
18'' is the maximum height provided by the manufacturer.
Thank you for asking,
-Travis

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice!! Love this product...so easy to assemble. I put three together in about half an hour, without any tools. Can't wait to start planting!! May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by garden bed are very durable. i got mine 1 month ago. i do like the quality. seems to be sturdy. i would of liked got one that was a twice the height. but i love this one . i am going to buy another one. May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product fit our need The set up took a while because the pictures in the instruction sheets were not very clear. We managed to put them together by guessing. We could not figure out the purpose of the screws. The rhomboid smaller plastic kept getting dislodged. However, we are pleased with the final result and hope the beds will contain the soil and the plants therein. June 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Purchase! We recently moved and put in a new garden. It is a wonderful product. We used them 2 high for ease of planting, weeding, etc. Very happy. Easy to put together and take apart. They could be used differently year to year if desired. June 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best raised beds ever! I purchased a Lifetime raised bed kit 4 years ago and they look as good today as the day I bought them. They have held up well and were very easy for me to assemble. My kit came with a tent to extend the season - it wasn't the easiest to put on but I did figure it out and was able to enjoy fresh produce well into October. Since I have more time for gardening now, I plan on using it in the Spring this year to get a head start on the growing season too. If anyone is interested in doing raised bed gardening I would highly recommend Lifetime raised beds. January 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Raised bed They were very easy to assemble. Since I purchased them in the winter they are currently in my basement. I look forward to using them outside in the spring and for many years. March 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Warped panels Easy assembly 4 panels warped. Contacted Lifetime & they said they will send replacements. Friendly customer service. January 4, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not too sturdy I purchased these garden beds because they were made of material that I expected to hold up in Florida weather. Purchased in September and one of the beds has already cracked along the side. Also, after we added the dirt, the sides began to bow out. We spent all of our school garden grant money on garden beds and materials and are not able to replace at this time. Disappointed in this product. December 8, 2015
