it only took a few hours for the two of us to build it. three of us, if you count our kid playing in the box it came in. definitely put it in the shade if possible. it's nice and a good size for growing with. the colors blend with the trees in our backyard so it's easy on the eyes.

Kids really love it, so it is well worth the money. They play on it, around it, under it, dangle off of it-which is scary for a parent to watch especially when they stand on it. Just make sure to place it on level ground and push the bottom bars down and out all around so it is steady.
My husband and I put it together in about 30 min. at 9 pm with minimal light (but he is a builder while I read out the instructions). I reviewed the instructions first and wrote in green bar with sticker or green bar w/o, brown bar with or w/o sticker, short bolt, long bolt, regular nut and nut with coating, 15 black climbing grippers and washers instead of looking at something like ADE to ADC to ADE connect to EFB-1 to EFE-2 with aa add ae...comes with everything to put it together except a socket wrench.
Put together the bars and repeat then start adding bars to connect. JUST hand tighten the bolt/nut because you will need to remove the nut to add the next set of bars...tighten everything down at the end once you shape it and do a walk around to tighten everything up.
It moves faster with 2 adults, but if I had to do it by myself it would be about 3 hours using the side of the house/fence/kids for help while reviewing the steps.

Once assembled, the dome is very sturdy. I like that the bars are connected with a rock-climbing type of plastic hold. Not only does it reinforce the connectors, but it helps my son (age 5) grab/climb. The coating on bars means it doesn't get too hot in the sun.
The dome itself is lightweight enough to move for mowing the lawn, but not light enough to move while kids play on and jump off of it.
It took my husband an afternoon to assemble with some minor frustration. According to him, it wasn't too difficult.

I bought this for my 5-year old and toddler sons. My older son has always been tentative when climbing on structures at parks. We live in a rural area, and he doesn't get much park time or much climbing practice. This climbing dome has helped him gain confidence and coordination at his own pace, without other kids crowding him, and without him feeling self-conscious about being cautious. He can climb to the top, and if it starts to feel precarious, he just hangs down from his arms and falls 8"-12" safely to the ground, landing on his feet. My toddler likes to duck in and out of the bars and go inside the structure. It has been a fun piece and a nice companion item to their Lifetime swing set.
With both products I purchased, I copied assembly tips from the reviewers into a document, and gave it to my handy woman to help with assembly. For the climbing dome, she followed the alternate assembly advice from one of the reviewers, and built the main dome in about 2 hours by herself with my son handing her tools (and me helping her lift one part, just one time). Attaching the black hand holds took about another hour. My play ground equipment was the first she ever assembled, and she said it was fairly easy.
So far, this is a nice, solid piece of playground equipment. My oldest son is 4' tall and weighs 58 pounds, so I was worried that the joints would start to loosen with extended play, but so far, so good! Both boys really enjoy it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Momofsix Another great addition to our Lifetime backyard
After purchasing the earthtone swing set and Adventure Tower Deluxe, we had to get this awesome climbing dome. I mean, come on...it matches! Plus, our kids love it and it gives them one more fun thing to do outside instead of making bigger messes in our house.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cachec Easy to assemble - easy to move
The instructions were pretty straightforward and the parts were all marked. I was able to get it assembled in one evening.
When moving, I find it easiest to get inside and lift from the top of the dome. This helps it to maintain its shape as well.
