Answer:
All metal rails. It comes with the allen wrench needed, I used a nut driver head on a cordless drill also but a socket or a simple adjustable wrench would work to tighten the nuts down, just slows to process down.

Answer:
On level ground I couldnt imagine it turning over at all. Wide at the bottom and narrow at the top, impossible to turn over. We have 2-3 kids all over it at the same time and it hasnt moved an inch from where we sat it up at.

We dug a small trench around the dome and put the bottom rail in the trench and then covered it with dirt....after packing the dirt down the dome does not move at all and won't tip over. I think your kids will love it!

Answer:
I would say the box weight was about 100 pounds, but it was delivered by Fed-Ex. It can be moved by 1 person with the straps it has on it...but not easily. 2 people would be best. Box is cardboard, so if you move it too much, it starts to fall apart. I think the box said it could hold up to 600 pounds of kids. I am about 200 pounds and played on it...I couldn't even get it to sway.

Answer:
The 100 lb. boxed product feels crazy-heavy for its size and is awkward to carry. My husband was able to move it by himself from the garage to the backyard, but it wasn't easy. Once assembled, it is actually very easy for two adults to move the dome around the yard.
The maximum allowable weight on the structure is 600 lbs.

I would like to put something under the dome in case a child falls. Where can I get some of that playground rubber or gymnastics padding to lay the dome on. I bought my granddaughter and would like to have something under it besides the hard ground

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 63 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it's nice it only took a few hours for the two of us to build it. three of us, if you count our kid playing in the box it came in. definitely put it in the shade if possible. it's nice and a good size for growing with. the colors blend with the trees in our backyard so it's easy on the eyes. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kids love it. Kids really love it, so it is well worth the money. They play on it, around it, under it, dangle off of it-which is scary for a parent to watch especially when they stand on it. Just make sure to place it on level ground and push the bottom bars down and out all around so it is steady. My husband and I put it together in about 30 min. at 9 pm with minimal light (but he is a builder while I read out the instructions). I reviewed the instructions first and wrote in green bar with sticker or green bar w/o, brown bar with or w/o sticker, short bolt, long bolt, regular nut and nut with coating, 15 black climbing grippers and washers instead of looking at something like ADE to ADC to ADE connect to EFB-1 to EFE-2 with aa add ae...comes with everything to put it together except a socket wrench. Put together the bars and repeat then start adding bars to connect. JUST hand tighten the bolt/nut because you will need to remove the nut to add the next set of bars...tighten everything down at the end once you shape it and do a walk around to tighten everything up. It moves faster with 2 adults, but if I had to do it by myself it would be about 3 hours using the side of the house/fence/kids for help while reviewing the steps. April 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hours of fun! We got this for the kids for a Christmas gift, and it's awesome! We have a hammock hanging in the middle and the kids love swinging in it. And they love climbing all over the dome. It is a great gift for the kids. High quality product! October 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saved my trees My kids love to climb around and this is perfect for our backyard! October 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent quality I bought this about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. My son (4) climbs all over it. I love that it supports up to 600lbs. I climb it with him! I love how big this is too, 5ft high, and 10ft diameter. Plenty of room for many kids. Instructions were easy to follow, and didn't take long to build. October 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Bought this for when grandkids are at my house. Lots of fun for them and I love watching them play! October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My daughter spends hours on it My daughter discovered this climber at a friends house. She pretty much spent the entire party dangling and climbing. Before I knew it the climber was purchased and set up on our lawn where it continues to be climbed upon. It's now the go to toy for both kids (5 and 2). I would not hesitate to recommend This and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My grandkids love it! We have had this for almost 10 years and the grandkids still enjoy playing on it! Durable and sturdily built. Easy to move to mow the lawn! September 14, 2016
