We have this hoop on our street. Even though every single other house on the street has one, all the kids want to use ours. It's nice and large, easy to adjust, and really stable. Is really held up to the elements.

Just purchased this hoop for my kids. Very impressed so far. Quality product and assembly was easy. I read some reviews where people said it took them over 6 hours to assemble!?! Thats crazy! I assembled mine in 2.5 hours BY MYSELF! Directions where very clear and the parts bags where all separated and labeled clearly. Looking forward to many years of fun play!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RA PARRY Great Product - easy assembly
I bought this for my 8 year old son. I had one of my older son's help me with the assembly. We took our time and found the directions to be clear and the piece parts easy to find. Once assembled the mechanism for raising and lowering works great and the product is really fun to use! It is a well made piece of equipment!

Filled mine with sand per instructions. But the 375lbs of sand will be impossible due to the base not accommodating such a volume necessary. At $4.15/bag of 50lbs, I was only able to fit 6.75 bags into the base and that's with rocking the base to settle the contents down. Either way, the thing is so darn secure yet heavy to move (two person job). Makes you wonder why it even has wheels to begin with.
Being the only adult around to move it and not wanting to damage the bottom (base), I had to rock, drag, and muscle flattened cardboard (top cover of packaging) underneath so that I can drag it to where I want it when not in use. Again, not sure why wheels were put on and ADVERTISED as portable. I might as well should've did it the old fashion way and stuck a pole on the ground or put the hoop above the garage (against association rules).
So for that I am disappointed about, but a least I know I'm safe. I wish they would implement a jacking-wheel system to the base like we see on those tall rolling ladders we see at Home Depot. Maybe then they can truly advertise PORTABLE.
Sand filling tip; carefully open top end of large bag that parts came in so that a small corner can be cut at bottom end to just fit around filling port. Remove cap assembly and fit cut corner of bag over mouth of filling port followed by wrapping tight to secure using duct tape. Now you have a large "funnel-bag" you can scoop large amounts of sand into and shake into the base. This method beats using the sorry instructions on using a conventional funnel which explains why people would be so lazy to use sand (duh).
In conclusion, thanks Lifetime for providing us with a great product, but no thanks in making some engineering/cost compromises on not making it truly portable and safe for people to fill with sand
