Answer:
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. We are not seeing that shed offered with the door on the 10 ft side. We contacted the manufacture they tell us that the shed is not able to be altered. We apologize for the set back. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 245 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The videos available for each step are extremely helpful, be sure to watch them before and during the construction process. We had a laptop on site to review each step before starting. It took about 5 hours for 2 adults and 3 teens to put together. Three people are needed for the roof construction. Most everything went together very well and appears very solid except for one roof panel that was warped. It did not fit in any location so we saved it for last. If it were easy to return just the one panel for a new one we would have done that, but instead we fought with it and finally were able to get it to stay in place. Hopefully it will remain in place and not affect the structural integrity. The door latch is virtually useless at holding the doors together, you will need something in the padlock connection. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Purchase I did a lot of research, watched a lot of videos before starting this project and buying this item. As a non-handyman type person, I was able to educate myself, borrow some tools and build a square and level foundation on blocks. Now to the shed. It came in two large boxes that I was able to move by myself to the back yard with the help of a dolly. One of the boxes was a little beat up but no damage to the shed. I was able to do much of the initial build; i.e., doors, trusses, etc. by myself but needed to enlist the help of my son to really start putting it together. We did it over two days and about 4 hours each day. All together it took about 12 hours which included reading the entire directions a couple of times through very slowly to make sure I understood things. I believe this helped a ton!! The shed looks good, has been dry through a major thunderstorm, and have no regrets about the purchase. I am on a tight budget so this was better than pouring a cement foundation and building a wooden shed. Just as a point of clarity, I am not including the time to build the foundation, level the ground, level the frame, etc. Those things I did over a span of two weekends. I had no experience, no help and had to borrow and or buy some tools. I would definitely recommend Lifetime products from this experience. It has been two weeks and I am definitely happy. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 8 x 10 Lifetime So far, everything as expected. I went with the Lifetime bc of the steel reinforced roof supports. Rubbermaid and Big Mac were plastic. I weigh 175 and lifted myself from the supports. The shed is really nice and the instructions were spot on. There were QR codes which led to video feeds if you couldn't understand the book. It took me six hours, four of those with a hired hand to assemble. I took the first two hours to read the instructions, open the box and lay out all the parts, build the wood platform and put together the doors and roof support. I hired an individual to assist with the actual assembly. You could do it yourself but it would take a lot longer and more painful without the extra hands. I am very pleased how easy things went together. I live in Hawaii so I will update after a few months and some rain. So far, I likes what I got. That and my garage is mine again. October 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shed Great product easy to assemble product. On time delivery October 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 8 FT. X 10 FT. OUTDOOR STORAGE SHED I hired a Home Depot contract guy to build foundation and install storage shed. Good- Storage shed is built with high density PE material. It looks stronger and more durable than other cheaper brand and come with 1 window, 3 sunroofs, and 3 reinforced steel beams. The price is also reasonable. Bad- 1. plastic door lock is not functional well with many trials and alignments. need further improvement! 2. missing battery touch light in the shipping box as described in Ad video. 3. no options to buy foundation of storage shed. Ugly- take ~12 hours to built pressure treated wood foundation and install the storage shed in a hot humid July day (90-95 degrees). August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The shed seems to be just right Instructions were difficult to follow but finally got it assembled satisfied with the end result. September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Good shed for the price definitely need a level slab or base had to shim mines in few places went together nicely August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Garden Storage Shed Purchased this shed to replace an old wood shed that sat on a 8 x 12 concrete pad. Shed was delivered on time. It took two days to install, by myself (60+ y/o retired guy), with some limited amount of frustration. Really need two people to install the roof panels (one inside and one outside) but it can be done by one, with some ingenuity and cursing. Hot weather didn't help. My advice, for what it's worth, is to watch the on-line videos (the companies and others on YouTube) first. Then read through the instructions and practice dry fitting the parts (for example, putting together the trusses) and then watch the videos again. That will save you some frustration when assembling the various parts later. The instructions make complete sense AFTER you have constructed the shed. I could do a second one in probably half the time now that I have the full picture in mind. Another suggestion - If there is a Home Depot nearby and they have a model shed set up in the parking lot, take the instructions, and your camera, and inspect the HD shed before you start your project. And lastly, if you use a cordless drill to put in the screws - ONLY use it to start the screw - use a regular screwdriver to fully tighten the screw down. That will keep from stripping out the plastic in the holes. Ask me how I know... August 30, 2016
