Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DaJamMaster Easy to build on flat ground
Pros: Relatively easy to build, looks good, nice features
Cons: Surface must be extremely level, instructions are sketchy in a few places
First, nowhere in the sales literature does it mention that you must build a base for this structure. There are two recommended bases: cement and wood. A 4" slab would cost almost as much as the structure. Either you'd pay someone to pour it or you'd need to rent a mixer and do it yourself. Either way, it's expensive. The alternative (wood) cost me $250. Note to self, don't build this in the rain. The ground must be absolutely level under a wood platform or getting things to line up is a...I'll keep it clean, but use your imagination.
Many of the screws go into plastic. If you use an electric device to insert these, set the torque low because they strip easily. Assuming you don't strip too many, the structure seems to be fairly stable once you get the roof on.

Great overall product. Only shortfall is the doors. Perhaps better engineering and all around framing system. Even on perfectly level concrete slab doors are still flimsy and substandard as compared to rest of components.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ohio Lifetime shed
Have owned this shed for about a year and a half. It was missing parts and some were bent. Lifetime was quick to replace, but replace ment parts came in bent again due to poor packaging. Door latch design is poor. Door unlatches on its own with wind vibration. Lifetime's fix was to add a screw under slide latch to give it more pressure, which will only wear out soon. I modified latch to make it work properly. Sky light are too dark to let enough light in, they should be clear or white. I wanted a shed that I didn't have to shingle or paint. We will see how well it holds up in the future, it's ok so far.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Naturechic I LOVE it! Perfect to store eBay inventory.
I bought this shed to use for my eBay inventory. It has weathered several storms without any leaks or problems. My 16 year old and I put it together in two days. I'm very happy with it. The shipping was fast too.

Everything was great except putting the corners together and the "concrete screws" they suggested. That would be my complaint. The last corner just did not want to go together at all. Very aggravating! I put my shed on a concrete pad like directions suggested. However, the instructions call for a 5/16" masonry drill bit and 3/8" "concrete screws". Good luck finding 3/8" x 2" concrete screws. I tried 5 places in town and no one had them!! The closest any hardware store has is "concrete anchor BOLTS". Nothing like they have in the picture. Complete disaster and waste of time trying to install them. So I ended up getting 5/16" x 2.5" concrete sleeve anchors - they enlarge/open at the bottom when you turn the nut. So much easier and the instructions should have recommended them! After making hole use hammer to tap them down into place and then tighten nut. I used extra 1" washer like they called for. So if you are installing on concrete I highly recommend you get the concrete anchor sleeves instead!! If it wasn't for the corners being hard to install and the concrete screws they suggested I would have rated this shed 5 stars.

Although it's only been two weeks since we assembled this product, I am very impressed! The folks at Lifetime made things easier by having pre-drilled holes and fairly thorough assembly instructions. The main thing to keep in mind is that YOU MUST have a squared, leveled concrete pad or wooden platform for the building to sit on in order for the holes and panels to match up. Assembly is a two-person job (preferably three), and one of the assemblers should have knowledge and experience with construction in case you encounter the inevitable bump in the road. As for my experience, it went fairly smooth because of the care and attention we gave the wooden platform prior to assembly of the shed. I went into the building after the first rain....no leaks!
