Customer Questions & Answers

My townhouse lacks storage. I am considering having someone build me a shed. Can this shed be used to store home items not lawn items and tools.

Asked by: Anonymous
Shed stays dry, however, humidity, rodents and other outdoor pests... shed does not protect against these. You should consider climate control for upholstered and any valuable furnishings or paperwork. Great for lawn furniture!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strike Plate on Left Door I assembled the shed this past weekend with minimal help. The instructions were good and the materials seem sturdy. My only issue is that the strike plate (DZG) on the left door jamb comes out too far and the latching mechanism on the right door doesn't clear the strike plate and therefore can't be closed without closing both doors at the same time...which in turn makes the deadbolts obsolete. Anyone else have this issue or am I just missing something? Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from product great I bought the 8x5 shed ten years ago. It still looks as good as the day I took it out of the box. Putting it together was easy. One problem,I had to replace the thumb lever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and easy to put together I must say, after reading a bunch of reviews I chose this item with confidence. I can't express enough how important it is to build a sturdy and leveled floor/frame prior to building this shed; it's makes all the difference when putting everything together, as pieces will not line up properly if you don't. I built this shed by myself in under 4 hours. If you have any sort of hands-on working experience and follow the instructions it really shouldn't take much longer than that. Hardest part to do by yourself is to install the doors... a couple extra hands could help. I highly recommend a power driver as there are a ton of screws. USE A VERY LOW CLUTCH SETTING as the plastic is very easy to strip. The panel thickness and rigidity are inconsistent, where some are much easier to strip the plastic than others. I found using the lowest setting to initially set the screw into place, then going back with a regular screw driver to tighten worked best.
