Create your own compost and reduce landfill waste. With a Lifetime Composter you can easily reduce, reuse, and recycle kitchen and garden waste into a rich organic soil conditioner. Compost helps retain the moisture in your soil and adds rich nutrients for healthy plants. The Lifetime Composter is designed with black, double-walled panels to absorb and retain the heat that decomposes the material. An internal bar mixes the compost and allows the flow of oxygen that is necessary to break down the material into a rich, black organic fertilizer for your garden. Unlike compost bins and other tumbler style composters, the lightweight 80 gal. Tumbler easily turns on its axis for balanced rotation saving you the time and effort of turning a compost heap with a pitchfork. You’ll also appreciate the locking pin that secures the tumbler and the extra large removable lid for easy filling and dumping.

  • Center axis balance promotes easy rotation
  • Black double-walled panels are designed to absorb and retain heat
  • Aeration bar provided the right amount of oxygen necessary for material breakdown
  • Powder-coated steel frame provides a sturdy base for the large 80 gal. bin
  • Galvanized steel feet prevent rusting and deterioration
  • Commercial grade lid fasteners create a strong air tight seal
  • Locking pin prevents unwanted rotation while loading and unloading the composter
  • Molded grips provide a firm hold during bin rotation
  • 5 year limited manufacture warranty

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not to shabby Love the size and durability. How ever the instructions were a tad bit of touch and go. I knew this from other reviewers so I did a bit of research on YouTube and found a 3 part vid from someone that helped out tremendously but even with that it took me about 2 1/2 hours with no help. I Do Recommend this product. Home Depots price w/ free delivery worked well for me as others could not come close in my neck of the woods...even Ebayers could not offer it for less. But remember to look over the instructions carefully before you commit to the next step and use the You Tube vids to help fill in the missing gaps. It would be a 5 star review if it weren't for the instructions. April 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the price I enjoyed the afternoon I spent assembling this item. I am pretty handy around the house with excellent tools. My son had to help me in 2 places for a grand total of about 20 minutes. Why on earth do the instructions recommend 3 people to do this? The pieces are extremely well-calibrated so after drilling, things lined up as they should. I wasn't used to the pictoral instructions (no written ones), so I spent considerable time analyzing the pictures to make sure I had things right. Even when I made a mistake it was easy to spot and simple to correct. I hate the cheap screws that come with EVERYTHING nowadays - you just touch them with a screwdriver and they start to strip. ...I have some older ones around the house and when I work on that stuff I feel like "Miracle:" Anyway, the compactor is "up and running." I feel as though the latch that locks the drum in place is a little cheap and may not last long. But I am pleased so far with the performance of this item at my twin home/small yard location. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really happy, this is the 2nd composter of the same kind I bought. Very satisfied. It's a large capacity composter which produces excellent results: no smell, no flies... just plain clean! The outcome? couldn't be better compost. I have 2 composter of the same brand. Thanks! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lifetime 60058 Compost Tumbler Black 80 Gallon We bought this model at the Chelsea Flower Show this summer - 2014. Compost decomposed faster than the plastic bin type we have also used, main advantage being that decomposition was much more even and faster, however we are not sure how much to fill it - up to what level does it cease to work as well? Do you put water in it? Compost only went moist [useable] this week November 2014 [6 months]. You have to introduce worms [preferably worms that are ready for turning or they become giddy when rotated!] It would be a good idea to issue instructions / advice on this website [video] or provided with the product when it arrives. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by so easy to assemble, a monkey can do it. i read all of these reviews before i finally purchased this on sale at the end of the growing season. i was a bit worried that so many people were saying the directions were hard to follow and it was difficult to assemble by yourself. rather than blindly follow the pictographic instructions, i looked at all of the parts, looked at the instructions and decided by using 4 clamps i could hold the three main parts together and drill and assemble the main barrel all at once then add the legs as the last step. it took me about 20 minutes to build the whole thing. it spins like a champ, it's sturdy and well made and i'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by composting your wate is environments call today I purchased this tumbler with great enthusiasm and a lot of expectation which were found fulfilled completely after it's first use. I am proud that i could successfully convert my kitchen waste, paper waste and vegetation waste from my yard in to a rich compost. Manuel indicates it takes 2 months in conversion, however, I observed most of the stuff was converted in just one month which one can see in my pictures posted here. This tumbler is the best thing to own if you are a home owner (not living in apartment building) and you have a green yard. This is the ideal process to reduce load on municipal garbage collection and processing system, reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in your garden and feel proudly better that you are helping the environment. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 80 gal. Compost Tumbler This was fairly easy to assemble but it did require a second person in a couple of steps. The tumbler works great, it is the answer for me to be able to continue composting. I have developed tendonitis in my wrist so turning my compost piles with a shovel or garden fork is difficult & this makes it easy. February 10, 2015
