Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dahlings Best swing set!
We wanted a simple swing set for our daughter. The set up was smooth and easy. The only "issue" we had was the swings are hung a bit high, so we had to get some extra chain to lower it. (Neither the five or three year old could sit on swings without assistance.)

This swing set is awesome - everyone thinks I ordered it from a park play ground catalog - My Grandson's love it - I love the fact that they will not out grow it - It was easy to assemble and only took us about 2 hrs. - We like the fact you can move it if you want to and it doesn't tip at all - It is very sturdy!! Buy it you will love it:)

I wanted a sturdy swing set that would be around for several years and not be rusting away after the first year. Have only had it up for two weeks but it seems every bit of what I had hoped for. My 5 year old grandson loves it and his younger brother will hopefully get his turn on it as well. It was delivered in two large, heavy boxes by UPS and it definitely takes two people to assemble. It was expensive, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Happy with it so far.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by John Excellent backyard swing for family
I bought this swing set for my kids (7 & 4) about a month ago. It was a good purchase -- fun for them, durable, looks good in the yard, and easy to swap different types of swings. This set is taller than many of the available options and I expect it to fit my children for a long time. The set comes with two "regular" sling swings and the trapeze bar. I recommend purchasing some variety of swings; we have the standing swing and the two-person glider, both of the same brand as this set.
The set assembles well and seems very sturdy now, but I had some trouble get all of the bolts to line up and needed help holding pieces in position to connect them. Use common sense to follow some of the assembly steps out of the order indicated in the manual. For example, don't put the caps on the end of the top bar until you have connected the side pieces to it, because that step is a lot easier if you can see into the bar to help align the bolt. Once it was all assembled, though, I had no problems or complaints with this product.

We purchased this to replace a wooden set, and have been very pleased with it. Our only regret is purchasing the wooden set first and not getting one of the bigger play sets from Lifetime. The caps on the end of the top bar have popped out after some older kids were vigorously swinging, but they went back on and seem to have stayed.

I bought this 4 years ago for our kids. It has held up incredibly well in spite of the summer and winter elements. The tall design even allows be (6'1", 225+) to occasionally swing with confidence. All the neighbors come to our backyard to play on this set. Thanks lifetime!

My wife bought this swing set 5 years ago. It is so sturdy and our five kids love it, so do the neighbor kids. We first put it up when we lived in Iowa and two moves later to Wyoming it is still going strong. It survived the Iowa and Wyoming winters without a problem, since we left it up all winter long. The kids even sometimes play on it in the snow. The swings and chains are going strong. No cracks in the plastic or rubber parts. The first time setup I definitely needed the instructions, and it requires at least two adults to pick it up once it is put together. I didn't need the instructions at all to take it apart and put it together after the moves. The children have never had a problem with tipping the swing set. When a large adult swings on it the set starts to lift off the ground during a full swing, but even then I think it would be nearly impossible to tip it over. If you have adults swing on it regularly you could consider ground anchors, but we've never used them. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends or anyone who wants a good sturdy swing set.
