Product Overview

Give your kids a break from TV with this high quality backyard swing set. A metal swing set construction means low maintenance for you. Unlike a wooden swing set, with a metal construction you don't have to worry about splinters, warping, or rough edges. Powder-coated steel and UV-protected polyethylene plastic prevents rusting and discoloration as well as heat retention, so children can play comfortably. This heavy-duty backyard swing set is approximately 2 ft. Taller than most residential swing sets and is designed with 3 in. Dia. steel posts at an extra-wide angle to provide greater stability. It is also designed with soft grip chains to prevent little fingers from getting pinched. This system meets ASTM safety standards.

  • Made from maintenance free powder-coated steel
  • Weight capacity of 150 lb. per swing
  • 2-belt swing and trapeze swing included
  • Nearly 9 ft. tall

Answer:
They don't have to be set in cement, but you need to keep in mind who will be using it. We have two sons who compete to see who can get the highest. If they swing together, they can lift the legs off the ground. We created cement pads under the legs and anchored the legs to the cement as a precaution for just this reason.

Answer:
My husband anchored ours to the ground because our two boys, if swinging at the same time, could raise the legs a bit.

Answer:
No, no need because it is so sturdy. The legs have rubber pieces on them to make them even sturdier. The set does not tip or anything even with all the swings being used.

Answer:
No, I don't think so. It comes with "feet" to attach to the bottom of each pole. It is really a HEAVY unit and ours is on grass so I feel that it will stand up to normal use by children.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 82 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best swing set! We wanted a simple swing set for our daughter. The set up was smooth and easy. The only "issue" we had was the swings are hung a bit high, so we had to get some extra chain to lower it. (Neither the five or three year old could sit on swings without assistance.) August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best swing set you can buy!!! This swing set is awesome - everyone thinks I ordered it from a park play ground catalog - My Grandson's love it - I love the fact that they will not out grow it - It was easy to assemble and only took us about 2 hrs. - We like the fact you can move it if you want to and it doesn't tip at all - It is very sturdy!! Buy it you will love it:) June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent backyard swing for family I bought this swing set for my kids (7 & 4) about a month ago. It was a good purchase -- fun for them, durable, looks good in the yard, and easy to swap different types of swings. This set is taller than many of the available options and I expect it to fit my children for a long time. The set comes with two "regular" sling swings and the trapeze bar. I recommend purchasing some variety of swings; we have the standing swing and the two-person glider, both of the same brand as this set. The set assembles well and seems very sturdy now, but I had some trouble get all of the bolts to line up and needed help holding pieces in position to connect them. Use common sense to follow some of the assembly steps out of the order indicated in the manual. For example, don't put the caps on the end of the top bar until you have connected the side pieces to it, because that step is a lot easier if you can see into the bar to help align the bolt. Once it was all assembled, though, I had no problems or complaints with this product. June 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great sturdy swing set I wanted a sturdy swing set that would be around for several years and not be rusting away after the first year. Have only had it up for two weeks but it seems every bit of what I had hoped for. My 5 year old grandson loves it and his younger brother will hopefully get his turn on it as well. It was delivered in two large, heavy boxes by UPS and it definitely takes two people to assemble. It was expensive, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Happy with it so far. May 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice swing set This is a really nice swing set. My 10 YO loves it. It was easy to put together took about 2 hours. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Built to last generations! I wanted a swing set that would last for years, and I knew I had found it in this Lifetime set. My 9 grandchildren love playing on it, but so do my grown children! We have moved it around the yard easily, yet it never rocks or shakes at all, no matter who is in it or how high they are swinging. It holds up to the weather and still looks fabulous. It is a high-quality, well-made set, and I am so happy I made the purchase! It was not difficult to put together, which was yet another great plus! August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for kids of all ages We've had this swingset for 4 years now and it's in good shape. We haven't taken the swings in in the winter as I think is advised, and they're still going strong. We expect to get many more years of swinging out of it. Strong enough for adults to swing too. It wasn't the easiest assembly but it really lasts, so it's worth the effort. Great buy. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome swing set!! We've had our swing set for about 3 weeks and my kids and I LOVE it! I have 4 kids (14, 11, 7, 2 yo). It's our very first swing set EVER. I really wanted to get the deluxe but this set is great! My kids love to go outside and just swing all day! Even my husband and I swing too! The quality is amazing. I know that this will last us for a loooonng time. We plan to make some more purchases in the future. Thanks lifetime! August 3, 2016
