This is my third kayak. I have an Old Town "sit in", and a three person inflatable Sea Eagle. I've also used "sit on" Ocean kayaks. This one is by far the best for me. There are two snap in paddle holders, fishing rod holders and drink holders. It's easy to paddle and tracks well. What really impressed me was the stability for a kayak. I'm 66 and can stand on it! You can sit sideways and it doesn't tip. There is a large screw plug to access the inside of the boat. I've used it about ten times and have found that the fittings are water tight. There are drain scuppers so there is no bailing. These come with scupper plugs. The built in handles front and back make it a snap to load and unload. The capacity is 3 people or 500 pounds. When I ordered I was concerned that the seats would not be comfortable. I was greatly surprised. The seat backs are 4-way adjustable and you can get a very comfortable fit. The value for the money is really great. I don't use my other kayaks any more now that I have this one. Great product!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by fisherwoman Would never buy again
Received the kayak, came only wrapped in bubble wrap. One of the paddles was broken. The only way to get a replacement paddle was to return the whole order/kayak.....really! Also the paddles that the kayak came with wereblue didn't even match the camo kayak like shown in the picture. Will never buy online again. Lifetime was terrible!!!!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tami1 Awesome Kayak
We just purchased this kayak and took it to Island Park. 3 of us rode on the kayak and it was soooo much fun! We stored our lunch in a refrigerated bag in the storage compartment along with our phones and camera. The kayak was easy to guide and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Kevin Not good as a tandem
I bought this to be used as a tandem with myself (5'-10" 175 lbs) and my daughter (5'-4" 110 lbs). It is a bit cramped as a tandem (expected) but a bit more than uncomfortable. The kayak has 3 seats, the front and rear when used as a tandem border on painful and the center to be used when paddling solo. There are 2 large bumps that stick up on the front and rear seats that jab you in the behind and cause bruising (picture attached), you start to notice feeling uncomfortable in 1-15 minutes then pain and numbness after about an hour. These are not present in the middle seat. Also, as other submitters have mentioned there is only 1 handle on this kayak, given the wider stance it is awkward and can be difficult to lift and the drain plug is on the same side as the handle so draining it when it fills up is a chore. I guess if you are a person bigger than either of us it would make a decent single person fishing kayak as it would be roomy and it is very stable and tracks well but it is awkward when lifting onto a car roof rack by yourself. However, due to our size I decided to purchase 2 separate Redfin single kayaks and I will be returning this kayak.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jmbsr34 Great fishing boat.
This is my 1st kayak and am pleased with it's performance. Easy to paddle and manage in the water. Not happy with back rest as it does not support very well. it is difficult to adjust when on the water. Overall very glad I got it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by yankeerose55 a lot of fun
This purchase was for use as a tandem kayak with the ability to fish. Have used once as a tandem, and its interesting, having both used single kayaks before. Bumping paddles, etc, A little difficult to steer until you get used to the tri-hull type bottom-Seemed a little small for two-it works if the person in back is not too tall.
My son used this alone, and he weighs about 400lb. He had no trouble and enjoyed the ride.
All users thought the paddles need to be longer, but they are functional.
