I was about to order the red, yellow and blue version but when I saw the earth toned one for less money, I ordered it instead. I have no connection to the manufacturer at all but will give my opinion as to why it costs less. Perhaps both versions were priced the same at first and more people ordered the red and blue one (as I would have) leaving an overstock on the earth toned one. By lowering the price, they hope to even out the inventory. OR: Maybe at first it was only available in earth tone and the red and blue version is a newer model so they needed to lower price to sell out of older inventory. Either way, other than paint, they are both the same as far as I can tell. Read Less

Answer:
No reason. I like that color better and I'm glad it's cheaper. I also have the dome climber to match. It is great.

Earth Tone Ace Flyer is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 68.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO MUCH FUN FOR SO MANY!! We have had this since it was first introduced. Our grandchildren hovered around while it was being put together, and immediately jumped aboard when it was finished. There are enough seats and actions to provide enjoyment for a group of kids. It has provided thousands of hours of flying time for the 10 grandchildren and now 3 great-grandchildren. The thing is so durable, and has only needed a washing periodically. It still sit in the kids play yard now waiting for the next little ones to visit. (I expect it to be out there when I am gone.) This was the best investment for the children and us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neighborhood Fun! We bought this 3 months ago for our girls. The set up was not too hard and once we got the hang of it I was able to do most of it with my husband at work. The neighborhood kids and my children have spent hours playing and pretending. The set is sturdy and one of the best investments we have made for our backyard. Our only issue has been the steering wheel falling off when played with roughly. It is easily attached again though and has only happened a few times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kids love it! I bought this product from the Lifetime Products Distribution store in Columbus Ohio several years ago (the store is closed now). The grandkids love this as do our god sons and all the other kids that come over. It's probably 10 years old and is still played with on a regular basis. They have filled all the seats and gone on some great adventures. I had plumbers doing some outdoor work and they were talking about how much fun they think their kids would have on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plenty of Room Toddlers love this airplane and it's safer than a stand alone teeter-totter because small kids (with guidance) can hold on to all the bars it has. Even now my 12-yr old granddaughter will sit on it and just rock while she plays with the dogs or talking to friends. Older kids are too rough for it. It's not commercial grade and the teen boys at one of my parties pulled the steering wheel off. It's for young ones. A lot of fun for them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun for the Grandkids I've had this Teeter Totter for over a couple years now and the grandkids still love it. It gets much use during parties and is usually full with the 7 kids. Because it sits in the grass when the grass gets watered, it is showing signs of rust along the bottom center joints of the two larger side seats. I will have to sand and paint this area before it breaks. Other than this rusting, the rest of the unit is in very good shape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great play equipment I bought this 6 years ago for my mother's home. It's been perfect for her. Children of all different ages can play on it and anywhere from 1 to 6 or 7 kids have climbed all over it at once. It's held up great and is light enough to move around the yard, but still heavy enough that KIDS can't move it. It's kind of a novelty because it's different than most swing sets, which is great for a grandparent's home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy unit, looks great I bought this teeter totter in earthtone to match the swingset I purchased from Lifetime. The Teeter-Totter is in its third year and everything works and looks like new. No paint chipping, propeller still turns well, and it still teeters and totters. My only complaint is that the kids seldom use it. It's not a piece that my kids will play on for longer than 10-15 minutes. My kids are 5, 3, and 1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic toy! We owned this for years and then passed it on to our friends when we moved. I am still amazed at how well the colors have lasted without fading. I was also shocked to see how many kids we could fit on it. All the neighborhood kids would come over to play with us on it. It can easily fit 10 kids. We loved it and were sad to let it go. (Thankfully we bought a dome climber to take with us when we moved)
