We bought this set for our grandchildren and they love it. It took my husband and I about 5 hours to put it together. We took a lot of water breaks because it was hot and humid that day, so it took us a while. I was very impressed with the packaging of the hardware. It was labeled well for each section. All the sections fit together perfectly ! I would highly recommend this swing set to anyone looking for quality and performance!

We love the durability of this product. Our grandkids are on it every time they come over. 6 grandkids ages 3-10. Fireman's pole is a big hit with the 5 year olds. The 7 and 10 year old love the monkey bars. They all love the slide, swings and trapeze! Couldn't be more pleased! Thanks Lifetime!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dbuk02 Best swing set with monkey bars on the markey
We bought this 4 weeks ago. We needed a set with freestanding monkey bars, did not want to have to cement into the ground, and did not want a huge wood playset in our yard. This set is SOLID, easy to install, and delivery was a breeze!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Anthony Well Engineered, Well Made, Very Good Instructions
I had no problems putting the unit together. I do have a few suggestions that I will note. It was ordered direct and shipped to my daughter's home. 2 boxes plus slide in a wooden crate. Took about 5 hours to put together with my 4 year old helper (Photo 1). All the components were wrapped with a thin film material for protection (Photo 2). All hardware was packaged on cardboard and identified. Suggestions: 1. the directions say to not overtighten. There is a thread lock material on the bolts so some resistance is normal. It is easy to overtighten the swing pendulums. Stop tightening when the supports start to bend. The gap between the support and the pendulum is normal (Photo 3). 2. Most BZO bolt assembly is through the tubes and if the BTS Nut is in place, as much as you think you are positioning the bolt to hit the blind nut, you will be off. It is far easier to put the bolt through and then orient by eye that the bolt is centered to the opposing opening that the nut goes through. Then put the nut through the opening and screw on to the bolt. Remember, it should go on easily and then meet resistance (the thread lock material). If it doesn't go on easily don't force it as you may be crossthreading the nut to the bolt. Also, where the holes are near the ends of the tubes, look through the end of the tube to position the bolt to the nut. Far easier than working blind. 3. The directions don't call for a level. You need one to level the unit side to side and front to back. 4. After the monkeybar frame is standing upright and the triangular leg and swing support horizontal is attached, I would suggest using 2 phillips screwdrivers in place of the bolts until leveling and positioning is correct. Again, no mention is made of leveling but you need to get the leg assembly in place and the added play with the screwdrivers lets you position everything before putting the bolts in. (Photo 4).
Finished successfully! (Photo 5). Full disclosure, I got my Mechanical Engineering Degree 40 years ago and I have put together numerous swing sets and I repeat that this is very well engineered, the instructions are well done and it was well packaged. My comments are to help others that haven't tackled a project like this. Sorry, the website wouldn't upload my photos. Awaiting assistance from the website. Anthony

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Great Looking, Solid Swing Set, with a Few Issues
We purchased this online and it was delivered on time and in good shape. The product was well-packaged to avoid shipping damage and the directions were easy to follow.
The swing set itself is well-made and relatively easy for two people to assemble, requiring only one of them to be proficient in assembly/construction skills.
However (and this is a big but), the bolts and other hardware that come with the swing set are absolute garbage. They are made of brass (which is a very soft metal) and have been dipped in copious amounts of thread-lock, which makes tightening them rather difficult. I managed to strip several of the Allen wrench screws using hand tools. Also, be advised that this swing set ships with the EXACT number of nuts/bolts needed; there are ZERO extras. If you mess one up, you are out of luck.
Eventually, I broke out a tap-and-die set and re-threaded all of the bolts and screws to remove the thread-lock. Once I did that, the rest of the assembly process was easy, until I got to the last step and discovered that one bag of hardware was missing.
All in all, my kids will love this swing set, but putting it together would be difficult if you don't have some specialized tools. I'd recommend throwing the hardware away and buying nuts and bolts at your local Home Depot before you start to put this thing together.

Easy to assemble and great quality. Great in backyard as not too bulky looking. Only drawback was nut/bolt assembly extremely tight to fasten together and sheared very first bolt apart and unable to tighten fully the rest until we used a wire brush attached to electric drill to clean chemical from bolts prior to using them to assemble unit. Would recommend Lifetime to send a few extra of the nut and bolts in the hardware bags as quantities exactly amount required to assemble unit and no extras. Had to buy extras bolts at hardware store to complete unit. All in all, kids love it and can't wait for them to play on it for next 10 years!

I purchased this set on 06/18/13 & assembled it with the help of a neighbor on 06/29/30. Instructions were very clear. Parts & hardware fit & work perfectly. Took us about 3.5 hours to assemble - not bad for two 64 year olds in the heat & humidity of south Louisiana. The set is large, so make sure that your yard is big enough. My grandchildren will enjoy it for many years. The quality & sturdiness is top-notch!
