Answer:
My 3 year old niece is not a confident climber and only goes around the bottom. My other niece is 7 and is all over it. I'd say up to age 12 depending on size and weight of child(ren).

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 52 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grandkids loved this We wanted something for our 6-9 age group grandchildren. They love it August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our 3 year old loves her 'monkey bars' !! It was NOT so hard to assemble, but it was much easier with two people then when I initially started by myself. The box came a little torn but we think because of the weight it may have been a little much for the delivery service to move around. We did inventory it but didn't plan to assemble for an additional week, everything was there so the torn box didn't really matter. After assembling it, it is actually easy to lift and move it around, so it takes only one person. We used a 13 mm socket wrench along with the pre-packed allen-wrench to get the bolts extra tight. We also plan to cover it with a tarp to make a quick tent. December 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Durable and long lasting! I bought this unit in 2011, it has been played on almost everyday by all the kids in our neighborhood and it still looks like new!! August 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Confidence Builder I bought this for my 5-year old and toddler sons. My older son has always been tentative when climbing on structures at parks. We live in a rural area, and he doesn't get much park time or much climbing practice. This climbing dome has helped him gain confidence and coordination at his own pace, without other kids crowding him, and without him feeling self-conscious about being cautious. He can climb to the top, and if it starts to feel precarious, he just hangs down from his arms and falls 8"-12" safely to the ground, landing on his feet. My toddler likes to duck in and out of the bars and go inside the structure. It has been a fun piece and a nice companion item to their Lifetime swing set. With both products I purchased, I copied assembly tips from the reviewers into a document, and gave it to my handy woman to help with assembly. For the climbing dome, she followed the alternate assembly advice from one of the reviewers, and built the main dome in about 2 hours by herself with my son handing her tools (and me helping her lift one part, just one time). Attaching the black hand holds took about another hour. My play ground equipment was the first she ever assembled, and she said it was fairly easy. So far, this is a nice, solid piece of playground equipment. My oldest son is 4' tall and weighs 58 pounds, so I was worried that the joints would start to loosen with extended play, but so far, so good! Both boys really enjoy it. August 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Sturdy! Bought this for my son who will be 3 in two months and he absolutely loves it. It is super sturdy and I love that the bars are a little thicker (I had one when I was little and bars were way thin) so this is an awesome climber!! The colors are super vibrant. The directions say "two" people to put it together and we had four and it was still a little difficult (just cause the bars want to fall constantly). But other than that it took almost 90 mins to put it together! Would definitely recommend it to anyone and the best part was the shipping was included in the price (other websites shipping is seperate and this was the cheapest I found). Overall AWESOME product!! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great piece of equipment - perfect for play. Purchased this for our 5y/o daughters birthday, and it was a huge success. The kids loved it, as did a few of the adults. It's sturdy, well built, and is an appropriate size and height. It took two adults roughly 2.5hrs to complete the setup. We received it within 5 business days, which was a major plus. Overall, we're very happy. May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by awesome I brought this last weekend and it has been a great investment already I think I have got my moneys worth already :). My 2 year old is too small for it but even he seems to love just swinging on the bars, my nephew thinks I am the coolest aunt for this frame, all the kids on the block love it. Only 2 cons I have is one bottom connector doesn't rest on the floor but it doesn't make it unbalanced. The other is the blue paint comes off. Highly recommend May 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AWESOME Red and Blue Dome Climber This is a fantastic product. Fairly easy to put together with 2 people--once you get the hang of it--it's a little fiddly at first. Kids loved it. It's sturdy. And despite reading the size description it still looks bigger than it sounds. Just LOVE it! May 29, 2013
