I live in city, front lawn to set my home from street.

I have wind chimes on my front porch all year round. I may hear muffled voices, but no unwanted content.

Will the wind chimes (especially on windy day) cause the motion activation to keep going on?

Answer:
The motion sensor is very sensitive. If the wind chimes pass in front of the sensor then I would say they would make the light come on.

Answer:
Yes it is motion activated so if the wind chimes are in view of the sensor it will come on. But you may be able to adjust the light to avoid the chimes. This is a great light, it's very bright and only comes on if there is no other light source detected. It's worth the effort to try to make it work.

My neighbor's house is approximately 20' from mine.

If the light activates at night, I don't want to annoy them by having it shine through their windows.

Is this doable?

I would put it on a surface that has somewhat of the angle you want. Then adjust the light. It has some adjustment.

Answer:
You can swivel it all around so I think you could move it downwards so it doesn't hit their house. I have mine angled downward to grass/yard and it doesn't hit house that is closer than 20'

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by piece of garbage light! I have bought and exchanged several of these lights and none of them are working anymore. They are NOT waterproof! Every one of them has filled with water which corroded the batteries and ruined the pc board inside. I contacted Fulcrum with no response. What a waste of money! I think HD should pull them off your shelves!! August 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for an area with no electrical service. I purchased one to try and was so impressed that I bought a second one. The only problem I had was not realizing the installation screws where inside thw battery pack and did not find them until I used some from my shop. It would also be nice to have instructions on how to install the batteries. August 30, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Closet Lighting We have no lights in our closets. I bought one to test it out and am going back to buy 4 more. i have tried other lights and none compare to the sensor on this one and the brightness. We can finally find things without a flashlight. August 16, 2016
