We loved these things, and bought enough to line our front yard. Beautiful out of the box, and pretty lit up... if you can get a box that works. Our experience with Gemmy lights is very poor. We'll never buy anything else made by this company. We had to buy and return no fewer than 3 boxes to find one that all the way worked, and even that wasn't working like it was supposed to. This year, we pulled them out of the Rubbermaid storage container in our climate controlled garage and they were completely yellow/brown!! Like teeth stained by tobacco. YUCK! Totally unusable now. If you have the money to blow on these to use them for one season (MAYBE) and then throw them away, they'll work for you. We wasted a fortune on these things and we're really disappointed. :-(

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by suva good purchase but a little expensive
I thought this would be a little bigger and taller. Also a bit too expensive. I hope to find more of the type of product for my liking in the after Christmas for next year. Overall I have not yet been disappointed eith anything I hve purchased at Home Depot. Thank You

This is our second year using three strings of these lights leading up to the porch. They are beautiful at night, and add a lot of character to our Christmas display. The only thing I'm unhappy with is that each of the three strings of four lights is on a different segment of the light show choreography. They should reset when the power is shut of for the night, but always seem to be off in relation to each other. Seems like a small thing I know, but when eight start flashing red and the four on the end are slowly changing color on another part of the sequence it seems odd. Still the kids like them so I'll put them out again next year.

*knock on wood* We haven't had any problems with them going out after a few days. As a matter of fact, we turned them on almost every night for 5 hours at a time the whole month of December. I guess the true test will be to see if they light up again this Christmas! We even modified them a bit by cutting PVC to differing heights, attached the PVC to the lights...so now they look like actual lollipops with sticks surrounding our mini gingerbread house. Worth the money, I think! Great product!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rhonda Stopped working after about 2 weeks!
This year I bought a total of 11 sets of these to line each side of our walkway because they went perfectly with my house decorated in a Gingerbread House theme. After about two weeks, one set stopped working. I tried changing the fuse but it didn't have any effect so I took it back. Then a few days later another set went out! I changed the fuse in this set also but no it had no effect either-so I had to take it back as well. NOW I am taking back a 3rd set!! I'm very disappointed in these because not only is it ruining the look of the display until I discover the unlit set, but I am even more upset because of the amount of money I have invested in 11 sets of these lights @$24.97 each!!! When you do the math you can tell I had blind faith and certainly didn't expect this! Who says you get what you pay for?! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THESE .

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SWJenn A little hard to put in the ground
These were great, plenty large, the lights changed colors nicely, but they were a little difficult to get in the ground. If I had to pull one back out to reseat it, it came off the little stick and I had to try to grab hold of what part of the stick was still showing, reinsert it in the light, and try again. It would be nicer if there was some sort of locking mechanism to hold the sticks in once you assemble the lights.
