You should consider using security screws that would deter unauthorized access unless the correct tool is used.

Answer:
Depends on where it is mounted....mine is 12 feet off the ground, in which case you need a ladder and Phillips screwdriver to access the bulb....

Answer:
No, because the fixture uses higher voltage to light the fluorescent lamp. You would damage the LED if it did fit which I'm sure is designed not to just for this reason.

42-Watt Fluorescent Wall Fixture, Bronze is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Outdoor Protection Light 1. Has only two wires to connect rather than three that caused me problems with other units. 2. Cheap to operate (42 watts) 3. Dusk to Dawn sensor works like a champ 4. Bright white rather than depressing yellow light. 5. 180 degree illumination. 6. <$40 is a steal. 7. Got lucky and it fit perfect on within a single cedar shake height.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Time will tell Time will tell if this was a good buy. Remember- not always, but price usually indicates quality. This is a low end fixture with a "screw in" 42 watt lamp rather than the more common 4-pin lamp. Its basically a throw away fixture, so if it lasts over a year or two I would be satisfied. Haven't checked on the price of the lamp it uses- I'm afraid it will be close to the cost of the entire fixture, but maybe not. Looks and works good as a newly installed light fixture. I used this fixture on a building I own. Would not purchase this for a Customer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a lasting product I bought three fixtures of this model because it was the only one with a white casing and because it was inexpensive. I provides good lighting. Unfortunately, the light bulbs last between 1-2 year only which is between 3500-7000 hrs, short of the advertized 10,000. Also, I had to replace the light fixtures themselves about every second year. Some replacements took place with the very first bulb. When considering the premature replacement cost of the light bulbs and fixtures, this "inexpensive" fixture becomes extremely expensive. I am switching to a different model. I recommend you spend a little more and get a better light fixture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ...has worked very well for us for a long time. I agree completely with "Best Outdoor Light Protection" comment (or similar title). We've had ours for years, just now replacing one because we drowned it out while pressure washing the house. Not smart on our part. Lights a large area. Love the "white light" also. Haven't had to replace it in 6 months like the other reviewer, that wouldn't make me happy either...but not so sure I wouldn't still buy it. Didn't notice if they tried a new bulb. I see I've chosen the bronze by mistake. We have the same 42 watt fluorescent wall fixture in white.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is a good value for the money This product held up well, considering the cheap price. The first light that I put up finally needs to be replaced after only 15+ years. I might be able to get away with only replacing the ballast, but for the money I could replace the whole unit for what just a little more $$.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lights do not last I have had 4 of these fixtures and they last about 6 months. Home Depot is great about the exchange and I am now going to a sodium vapor light which supposedly will last a lot longer. Will not buy a Lights of America light again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Economical I have bought several over the years. Low capital cost, but you can expect to through them away after about five years of use. I keep stocking up on them so I can use my left over light bulbs.L

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to install. this fixture is easy to install and is brighter than an incandescent light and takes less watts. Good value for the money.
