I do not have electrical power line to the area that I want to mount an inexpensive outside photo-cell driven wall security light. The Lights Of America Model #9050 / Home Depot Internet #100405569 would be suitable for me if it had its own power source within the unit (battery/solar). What do you recommend?

I need it to be attached to the wall. I have one, but I believe it has burned out. I purchased it
at your establishment. I hope you still carry them.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 76 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by cheap plastic, cracked on arrival this was an inferior product for Home Depot. when it arrived, it seemed to have been repacked... there was a piece of plastic broken on it. I have other hps lights, and they are much better than this one, at a comparable price. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good light purchase. Lights were simple to install. They provide a strong yellowish light at night that probably will not attract insects, yet light the chosen area very well. The one and off by light works well. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best purchase ever made! I originally installed this fixture in 1987 and it finally went bad in 2016! Only problem was I could not access ballast and fix ignitor because it is all electronic. Still not bad value--I got a lot of service out of unit. Photocell probably finally went bad and lamp did not turn on. April 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't work. This product didn't work straight out of the box. Returning. March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love these wall lights We have several of these wall lights hanging outside on our large shop and they work great and are nice and bright too. Easy to install! February 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by wall light This light works great, for a while. This is my third one. After about a year, the sensor stops working. The company would not offer any help, but online was cheaper than in the store, so I replaced it again. Maybe I've just had bad luck, but I do like the product. December 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by followup to: pretty good for an inexpensive light from September 19, 2014 This is a followup to my review from Sept 19, 2014. Reliability of these lights is an issue. I have installed 13 of these lights since I started in Aug 2014; with 10 of them before April 2015. 3 of these units have failed. After diagnosis the issues were: 2 -- bulbs failed 1 -- fixture failed Contacted Lights of America vendor (their initial email turn around is about 2 full business days). There was no problem with them taking the warranty claim, you just have to send copy of the invoice -- then you need to followup with them to make sure they got it. Only problem is they are/were out of stock on replacements -- so delay is like 3 weeks until the vendor gets them in stock. As of this review date, I am waiting. October 1, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Repeated Lighting Flashes Cause Fixture Failure I have purchased several of these fixtures for two different homes. I like the look, the power consumption and the bulb longevity. I use these fixtures at two homes. The home with the highest frequency of lightning flashes in an evening requires that the fixtures be replaced on a periodic basis. The fixture shuts down the lamp on a lightning flash when dark and then restarts. If another lighting flash occurs, the fixture again shuts down. It does not take very many lighting flashes to cause a fixture failure. I am seeking replacement from LOA and will return the defective units to them for investigation of the ballast and starting circuit. July 12, 2015
