I had purchased these lights and had a problem with the lenses filling with water in the rain. Just to update: the manufacturer contacted me own their own. They said that they were working on correcting this problem and would replace my lights when they were finished. They followed through with that promise and I am now raising my last review from a 1 to a 4 just because they took the initiative to resolve my issue. I am currently out of town and have not yet installed the new fixtures but will update again once they are in and have been through a rain. These lights do produce a great light and are very energy efficient.

I was anxious to get an energy efficient, powerful dusk to dawn light. this looked like the perfect product.
The mounting was a little bit of a pain, especially as you have to silicon everything... it would probably be better if the manufacturer provided a custom mounting box with a gasket... it also felt that the mounting bolts were a little under gauged relative to the weight/mounting of the product.
That said, no big deal. I mounted it and aimed the lights, which is another bit of an issue. The limited range of the lights' pivots might be an issue to anyone who lives in close quarters to others or to the road, especially if this is to be mounted at an apex.
I pushed mine to the limits and was able to avoid shedding a blinding light on my neighbors or blind oncoming drivers,.. but it was close and I had to double check with my neighbor to make sure that it was suitable.
So it's now wired, mounted, sealed, and aimed..and the thing is great. It lit up the better part of an acre. The light is very bright and very clear, and all @ 24W??? I loved it!
So a few months went by and the northeast got pounded by some rain... one morning I'm standing out with my kids as we wait on the bus. I look up and notice that the light is still on.
I climbed up on the roof and saw that there is water under the glass of the light sensor. I had hoped it would dry out, but never did. I sent an email to the company and let them know about the issue. They said that it would be covered under warranty, but that I had to send the product back to them with a letter explaining the dissatisfaction and they would exchange it if they agreed that it was covered under the warranty.
I guess I would hoping they would just send me a new light sensor. I have yet to return the product, and I turn the light off and on manually. I really don't want to go days/weeks without a dusk to dawn light... and I really don't want to go through the effort of dismounting this unit, waiting, and then remounting another unit that will likely have the same problem.
I'd really feel bad for someone who was paying to have this product installed...
At the end of the day, this is a great start to a product, but it is fatally flawed. Spend a few bucks on R&D... make the installation process easier... allow greater flexibility to the aim of the lights... and waterproof the sensor.
A couple bucks worth of prevention would yield a heck of a product and a lot more happier customers. Take this product off the market until then, or advertise it as something that needs to be weather protected...

These are the greatest lights EVER. Not only are they energy efficient, but they are AMAZINGLY bright.
We have a fairly large lot and put two lights on either side of the house to light up areas that were pitch black and now our yard is as bright as daylight! The dusk to dawn feature is an added plus - no worrying about having to remember to turn the lights off/on.
The fixture itself is small and blends in very well with the home - relatively obscure. Please do yourself a favor and buy this light!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shaye Do not buy! I bought four of these lights to put on the side of my storage building. All four lenses fill with water every time it rains despite the rubber o-ring. One of the sensors has already malfunctioned and the light stays on day & night. I would return these had i not already destroyed the packages they came in. These lights are way too expensive for such a poor performance. Like the light that they produce and that they only use 24 watts. But what good is that if they can't be used in the rain?

I have installed the new light fixtures from lights of america. Thus far they are working perfectly and have been through several rains. I will purchase again and my Dad wants me to install some on his house. Thank you to lights of america.

Firstly, these lights leak! I installed 3 sets of 2 on the back of my house and most of them are flooded inside the lens. But don't worry, they dry out and rust! Secondly, I was replacing fluorescent lights I already had that were damaged over the winter, and these new lights don't put out anywhere near the light that the old fluorescents did. These lights are garbage. Stay away!

I purchased two of these double lights and they light up one whole side of my home. Make sure you order either the wall mount or under the eaves mount. It makes a big difference. I had to drill out two holes on the mounting bracket so they would lign up with the electric box holes. Still gets five stars. Helpful to get a friend to help you. Dusk to dawn is excellent.

I purchase two of these - - one is fine, the second failed. Will not turn on.
The return process is a pain and I did not keep all the paper work (my bad) but the result is the time saved by ordering online and home delivery has now been eaten up with this return process. Last time I order online - will only buy from the retail store.
