I cringe when I see Landscapers not wearing Protective cheap zip up cloth clothing, Plastic Glasses, gloves and even a Simple Paper filter Mask..when using Fertilizers/ Weed & Feed and Weed and Grass Killer, Sprays or Granuels.. .. Let alone HD Ear Plugs when mowing the Lawns..You'd think their Boss/Owner would provide that to them !
and a Pair of HD Ear Protectors should come with every Riding lawn Mower..
If you use a Landscaper, tell them to wear them when doing your yard.. and leave out a Box of Enettamans Donuts for them as a tip !

Answer:
By hand by spreader however. It is more effective to use a spreader, so you get a more even coating on the area. Also you'll get the full 1000 sq ft if you use a spreader, by hand you'll tend to not spread evenly although it is also very effective, just remember to use gloves.

If it is only in a small area by hand is fine, but make sure you are wearing gloves. If it comes in contact with skin wash that area quickly.

You could spread this by hand if you were doing a very small area but I'd recommend a spreader. It is very fine and says it is harmful if absorbed through the skin. It also suggests to wash your clothing after use.

Answer:
You should first kill the poison ivy with an appropriate spray, then clear the area and apply NOXALL to the bare dirt which will prevent any growth of anything for up to a year.

Answer:
Hello,
Noxall Granules form a vapor barrier in the top layers of the soil. This works best to prevent new seed germination. Seeds will not germinate in this vapor zone. Existing vegetation can be killed but plants will deep roots may not be killed. A better choice would be the Image Brush & Vine Killer (SKU# 843-187) to kill poison ivy.

Hello,
Noxall works by creating a vapor barrier in the top few inches of the soil. Nothing can grow in this zone and the effects last for up to a year. Unfortunately in your case this could cause harm to the pine tree.

Hello,
Noxall can be applied at any time of the year. The granules need to be watered in so we do not recommend application when temperatures are near freezing. Most applications are made during the spring and summer to clear paths and walkways.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad at Best I spread the granules in my gravel drive and parking area. After two weeks only random spots of grass and weeds showed signs of dying off. I have resorted to using a concentrated weed/grass killer spray to see if I get better results. July 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good vegetation killer If you want to kill off all vegetation in an area for several months up to a year, this has worked good for me.. I use it on a gravel walkway... May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It Rocks if you have Rocks Been using this product for three years in my extensive rock landscape. Before I started using it, it was a constant battle with weeds. Now I apply it in the spring and early fall and have minimum weeds to contend with. Note, it is NOT a weed killer....it's a weed preventative. You have to get rid of the existing weeds before you put it down. A hassle to be sure when dealing with all the rock landscape I have, but well worth the end result. And, yes, it's a little pricey but worth every penny. April 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Won't kill anything Over the course of this summer I have literally used this entire bag on a 15'x20' area and it barely turned the weeds brown let alone kill them. A mixture of water, vinegar and dish soap has been more effective then this garbage. September 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This is very effective! I have used this product in the past and it is very effective for a long time in preventing weed seeds from germinating. Don't expect it to clear present weeds. You have to first clear weeds before applying it. I would give it five stars if the price were lower. July 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far, so good! I'm using it on a gravel driveway. It took about 1-2 weeks to see any results but after one month it's working good. I would like to have done the product review after summer or next spring to see how long it does work. Will order more if it does! June 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Worked just like the label said it would.I would purchase again. June 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pre and post emergent This is a great weed killer but what the home depot doesn't put is that it is also a pre emergent not just post emergent. It will prevent weeds for at least 10 months April 29, 2015
