I want to know before I open the package.
Welding is not my occupation and I do not have money to throw away.
Nor do I wish to have eye damage if an internal battery should ever fail to power the lens.
Is this is totally 100% solar powered?
Or can it fail if an internal battery if any is drained too fast or dies during use?
Does it use a sealed box, hard soldered, non serviceable internal battery?

Answer:
The helmet has an internal battery in the ADF cartridge. If you do not use it often charge it prior to use and test it.
