The Lincoln Electric 1/8 in. Fleetweld 180 E6011 Stick Electrode offers excellent arc stability for excellent performance with power sources as low as 50V open-circuit voltage (OCV). A great stick electrode with the ability to start easily on low open circuit volatge welders. Performs well when welding sheet metal.

could be the difference in the chemicals used at manufacture or that they were exposed to moisture.

It is the same welding rod. Fleetweld is Lincoln brand name.
