Product Overview

These Lincoln Electric 1/8 in. E6013 Fleetweld 37 Electrodes are designed primarily for welding on new, clean steel. The E6013 is an all purpose, all position electrode with a stable, easily handled arc. Spatter loss is low, and the weld metal solidifies quickly leaving a closely rippled deposit with good bead appearance.

  • For welding of mild steel, and is particularly good with vertical and overhead welding
  • Great for jobs involving irregular or short welds that require a change in position
  • Arc starts easily, even at low amperage settings
  • Performs well with small AC welders having low open-circuit voltages

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rod is okay, but where's the tin? The welding rod is overall fine. It's standard commody grade ER6013 1/8 rod. Great for mild steel, general fabrication, and MRO. Works fine on an A/C stick welder. HOWEVER; the picture advertised this rod coming in a sealed metal tin. The rod is not shipped this way, it's simply loose rod in a corrugated cardboard box. There was no vapor barrier. So, when UPS leaves these rods on your doorstep and it's raining/snowing out...... And even if it's not - you have no way of knowing how these rods have been stored, or for how long. Assume that they are loaded with moisture. I would have liked a metal tin. Now I have a lot of rod that I need to find a storage/dessicant solution for before storing in uncondioned space. February 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by E6013 Welding Rod Great general purpose Rod I have tried various welding rods only to find some to be hard to strike an arc, hard to get a good bead, or good flow. When I tried the E6013 both the 3/32 and the 1/8 rod on my AC and my old DC welders I was pleasantly surprised, good welds, good flow, very easy to strike an arc, would highly recommend these rods to anyone who just needs a dependable, good welding rod that works.
