Answer:
This wire is .030. It's great for use in a 220v welder. For the 110v welders, try to use the .023/.025 sized mig wire.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent wire Lincoln's Super Arc series of mig wire is excellent. It runs smooth and extremely well over mill scale. One should really try to grind or sand off all rust, millscale and dirt BEFORE attempting to weld. A clean SHINEY metal surface is the best, ensuring that a good weld joint remains solid. For home use, I like the .030 diameter wire. .023/.025 wire is fine for the 110v machines, but if you have a 220v circuit to plug the welder in, go with .030 wire. .035 works well for thick steel, over 1/4" thick or more and on a regular basis. .030 will work fine for 1/4" steel and thinner. One can use .030 on steel thicker than 1/4", with multiple passes and/or preheating the joint with a torch prior to welding. February 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Buying the larger reel of wire is much more economical than buying the 2 pound reels. Wire is very good quality at a fair price. March 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good value a great value, saves money orver buying the smaller 2LB rolls and lasts longer too. December 10, 2013
