Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flame On I bought this for killing weeds and grass in my yard and I have to say I am impressed. This product does exactly what it advertises, it cooks weeds mercilessly. Easy to use and efficient. May 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fits Normal BBQ tank. I left a comment below as RoninHRM but the system would not let me write a follow up (1 comment per account), nor let me delete it. I do not own a propane bbq so when I ordered this torch kit and went to pick up a propane tank I saw male threads to male threads and it caused confusion. A kind gentleman at Lincoln Electric Canada assured me the product was indeed compatible and he was correct. I feel like a herp derp, but this torch works fine and I will be using it to melt stuff in asphalt driveway. July 20, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lincoln Electric Inferno Propane Torch Kit This torch cooked the weeds on my driveway in a flash. Whole driveway took no time to completely eliminate unwanted weeds and grass and didn't use too much propane in the process. Very easy to use just watch out for the very hard to see flame, it will burn you in a flash just as easy as it fries the weeds. July 5, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not for the Canadian market ?? The torch is most likely to work in other places ? but not with the standard Canadian propane tanks with have apx. 250 psi charge & with a high flow stop, tried a pressure reducing valve c/w hose but here the torch have right hand tread & the Canadian use left hand thread ?? have to return it ! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by POL to QCC1 Problem Can any of the Canadian users let me know how you got this torch to work on our QCC1 connector propane tanks? What is doable to get this thing working, it's sitting in my garage and I could really use it for a driveway crack seal job. Any tips would be welcome. Ron July 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by InfernoReview Works like a charm - watch out for the intensity of the flame - it's not called an Inferno for nothing - tank connection is POL ( the inside thread on the tank valve - BTW it's a left hand thread so.. lefty tighty righty loosy. August 6, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lincoln Electric Inferno Propane Torch Kit This tool has many uses but the one I use this for is melting ice around the house. No more chipping with an axe, shovel or dumping harmful salt on the walkway or driveway to clear built up ice and snow. Very fast, safe and easy. This tool has many safety features that other similiar ones do not. A great buy. December 31, 2008
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bought for weed control Recently purchased this item online and have used it multiple times in the last week. Seems to be working quite well and the only thing that would make this item better is if it had a pilot light so it's easier to start after moving the tank and torch to the next batch of weeds.
